"Guess who got asked to homecoming!?" My friend screeched in my ear. "You." I sighed shutting my locker. "Oh don't be so sad! Someone will ask you soon maybe even at the football game tonight." She smirked winking at me. "Yeah right." I said walking out of school. She just sighed shaking her head, "you gotta believe! Maybe Ethan will ask you." She smiled dragging me to her car. Ethan dolan, my crush since 4th grade. He was an amazing person. He was funny, kind, charming and extremely handsome. "Stop daydreaming and get it in the car!" My friend screamed honking the car horn. I snapped out of the daydream and hopped into her car.

I threw all my good clothes onto my bed letting my friend examine the clothes. She's gonna pick an outfit for the game. She grabbed an outfit giving it to me. "Try this." I went in the bathroom changing clothes examining myself in the bathroom mirror. I look good! I smirked walking out like a model making my friend laugh. "You look fabulous! Now let's go." She said walking out. I put shoes on running after her.

Ethan was doing so good in the game. They were winning and it was half time now. Everybody cleared the field which was not normal. Grayson came over to me grabbing my arm yanking me down to the field. "What's going on?" I asked him but he ignored me. All the eyes from the bleachers were on me. Football players ran onto the field setting down a chair then running back. What is happening?! Grayson sat me down on the chair, running to where the football players went. I was facing that way looking at al the face in the bleachers. My friend was smirking at me. The football lights went off and everything was pitch black. A hard big hand grabbed mine making me jump. The lights were back on and the face infront of me was surprising. It was Ethan? He had roses. My favorite flower.....what was her doing? "Sydney, I've liked you for a long time but I've never had the courage to say this to you because I always thought you were out of my league. You were funny, kind, beautiful, and so many more things I could list off. As you know homecoming is in a few days and I would like for you to be my date. If you say yes believe me that would make me so happy, but if you say no I'll understand and maybe have a chance another time. But Sydney...will you be my date to homecoming?" Ethan said into a microphone looking into my eyes. My eyes were wide. "Yes!" I say hugging him tightly. I felt him smile against my neck hugging me back. Everybody in the bleachers went wild. I took the roses smelling them. The buzzer rang and Grayson ran back to you taking you back to the spot you were at. I started fangirling with my friend feeling out. "Be happy because we spent three days persuading coach to let him do this." She giggled. I laughed and cheered Ethan on the whole game.
