I say plopping my bags down by the door as he reaches for a hug. It looks completely different from last time I came here .

Daddy : It's as good as new . I got new furniture , walls painted , and everything . You like it ?

I shrug my shoulders as I go to the kitchen .

Daddy : You'll meet her as soon as she gets here from work .
Zonnique : Meet her ? Pops are you serious ? You got married and didn't tell me ?

Daddy : I'm sorry I didn't tell you . But don't worry , you'll like her . She's gorgeous just like you and she's a sweetie pie . You two should get along well
Zonnique : *mumbles* She can get along with these nuts
Daddy : What ?
Zonnique : Nothing
I said finding my way upstairs to what used to be my room .
Zonnique : Pops ! What happened to my room ?!
Daddy : Yeah about that .. Your step mom needed a nice office to do her paper work so I thought you wouldn't mind staying in the other room .
Zonnique : The other room ? You mean that closet you call a room in the attic ?
Daddy : No
Zonnique : Then what other room ?!
He lead me to the basement to what used to be where he work out .
Daddy : This isn't that bad now is it ?
Zonnique : I can't believe you
Daddy : Come on Baby girl . I made sure they set up all your stuff just how you like it . I even got you a new bed .
Zonnique : Dad . I want my old room back
I only call him dad when I'm really mad at him . How could he move me down here for a woman who's not even gonna be in his life for long ? I don't like her already and I haven't even seen the bitch face yet .
