Chapter Twenty-Three: Home Sweet Home

(Jade POV)

        "Mom?" I said as I came into the kitchen. 

It had been over a month since I had last been able to come home, and I was enjoying every moment of it. Sadly, today was my last to on this side of the well, and I wanted to spend it with my mom. 

"Yes, sweetheart?" she asked. 

"Do you want to hang out today? Sesshomaru is coming to get me tomorrow." I said. 

"You want to hang out?" she asked; slightly shocked. 

"I don't get to spend much time with you lately." I shrugged. 

"Okay. How does a day at the mall, a movie, and dinner sound?" she asked. 

"Sound great!" I smiled. 

"Alright. Let me finish dishes, and then we'll leave." she smiled back. 

"I'm going to get ready." I called over my shoulder as I darted up the stairs. 

        I decided to just wear leggings, and a sweatshirt with my winter boots. It was cold out, but I figured this would be warm enough. I threw my hair up in a ponytail, then brushed my teeth. 

"You ready?" my mom yelled up to me. 

"Ready!" I cheered; bouncing down the stairs. 

        "What movie do you want to watch?" my mom asked. We had already went shopping and ate lunch, but I didn't really now what I wanted to watch. 

"How about that?" I asked; pointing to a random movie. 

"Okay." she nodded. 

(Nayumi POV)

        "You're weak!" Enma yelled at me. 

"I'm tired!" I growled. 

"We haven't been training that long." he scuffed. 

"2 DAYS YOU ASSHOLE!!!" I growled.

"Has it really been that long?" he asked. 

'Yes!" I was really considering using spiritual powers on him, but I didn't have the enegy. "I'm human, so sleep is needed. Oh, and food too." 

"Don't get smart with me. Take a break. We'll train more tomorrow." he snapped. 

"Why do we have to train anyways?" I asked; forcing myself to stand. 

"I need you stronger than me." he shrugged. "Now go rest." 

"You really don't want me stronger than you." I warned before walking off. "Move." I shoved Sakura to the side. 

"Watch it!" she snapped. 

"You should really watch you tone with me!" I snarled; pinning her against a tree. 

"What's up with you?" she asked; fear crossing her features. 

"You're brother." I growled; pushing harder against her throat. 

"Don't take it out on me!" she snapped; shoving me off her. 

"Bitch." I scuffed; kicking her in the ribs. 

"If you have the energy to fight with Sakura, then you can always come train more." Enma warned. 

"Shove it up your ass." I growled, but walked away. 

        Jade has a piece of the necklace. Which means that she managed to break it before Sakura found her. I hope she manages to help Sesshomaru and the others find the other three pieces before Enma and Sakura take me hunting. I wish I could-
