Never Sleep Again. Another Nightmare On Elm Street.

"This Whole Thing Has A Good End, Right?"

In the car I send Tina a text asking her to meet me at my house. Thank goodness Tina agreed to meet up with me. When we got back home, I went straight to my room to do my homework. Someone knocked at my door. „Come in." i kept on doing my homework. The door opened a little. „Hey sweetie, I just wanted to ask if everything's okay." My Mum took a little step into my room. Why keeps everyone asking me this? I turned to my mum and and smiled a little. „Yeah, school is just stressing me out a little." A lie. My mum nodded and gave me a light smile. „You know if you have a problem you can talk to us." Okay, why is she saying that? „Uhm, sure, but why are you saying that?" My Mum walked over to where I was sitting and hugged me. „Just to remind you. Love you!"
I hugged her back. Maybe sometime I can tell you about what's going on, but right now I have to find out on my own. We got out of the hug when we heard the doorbell. My mum gave me a last smile before going out of my room and answering the door. I closed my exercise book and packed it back into my school bag. There was another knock on the door. I made my way over the door to open it. „Ella, hey, how are you?" Tina hugged me. I hugged Tina back. „I'm good, kinda. What about you?" We got out of the hug and Tina sat down on my bed. „I'm good. College is a little bit stressful, why did you want to meet up?" She knew me to well.
„I don't really know how to start. I started having these dreams.." She looked at me in a questioning way. „Tell me more."
I looked at her. „There's this guy named Freddy and he has a red and green stripped sweater on, a dark brown hat on his head and he has this gloves with knives as the fingers. His face is scarred and burned, and I have a feeling that he's behind all this evil things happening."
She looked at me worriedly. „This sounds pretty scary. Are you sure that this isn't just a bad dream?"
I went to my radio to check if you could still see the little red spot. It was gone. I'm sure my mum cleaned it. „Ella? The piece of paper almost falls out of your back pocket." I looked confused at Tina. „What piece of pap-" I checked to see what Tina meant, then it hit me. The dream. I got the piece of paper out, and their were the names. „Ella, are you okay?" Tina got up from my bed and walked over to me.
„I got this piece of paper from my dream." She took the piece of paper out of my hands and read through the names. „Who are these people?"
„I don't know." Tina thought for a while. „You know, dreams are repressed memories." She looked at me really serious. „You really don't know anyone on this list?" I nodded my head.
„How often do you have these dreams." I thought for a while. „Since Sunday. I dreamt about this scary guy twice. Yesterday when I took a nap, and today in school."
She took a piece of paper and wrote a few things down. „What about yesterday night?"
I thought again. „No, but I dreamt of this house. It looked like it was before we moved in." Tina folded the piece of paper and looked at me. „This isn't going to be easy and I can't promise you that we'll find something, but I will help you!" I hugged her. She hugged back for a while before she got out of the hug and looked at the clock. „I need to go home, but before I go and forget to ask this, did that Freddy guy said something to you?"
I thought about both dreams. „In the first dream he said 'It's good to be back.', and in the second one he said 'This is what's expecting you and your friends' before he attacked this dead child with his glove." Tina wrote it down and put the piece of paper in her bag. „Alright. I'll let you know if I find something. How about we meet next Tuesday again?"
I gave her a light smile and nodded my head. „Thank you again for helping me." She smiled. „No problem." She got out the door and went home.
Whatever this is, it has to stop, and I'm not alone anymore. So this whole thing has a good end right?
