It was now three AM and I started getting tired. „C'mon ELLA, THIS IS FUN." Celia slurred while grinding on some guy. She was wasted. Zoe's the same, probably. I haven't seen her for an hour. She probably left with some guy to spend some time alone with him. A hand around my waist  interrupted my thoughts. „Are you still having fun, or is something wrong?" Mason looked at me concerned. I smiled a little. „Yeah, I just think it's time to get home." He nodded. „I could bring you back home, cause I think your friends are a little bit too wasted for that." we both laughed. Before I could answer him Natalia came towards us. „Hey love birds,have you seen Miranda somewhere?" I felt my cheeks getting red. Mason shook his head. „I don't know, where did you saw her the last time?" I gave Natalia a questioning look. She thought for a while. „She was sitting in this chair." She pointed to a chair next to us. „She wanted to take a break and I told her that I'm gonna dance with Jason for a bit. After that I didn't saw her anymore." Natalia was really worried you could tell by her face expression.
„Maybe she left with some boy to have fun" Celia slurred and sat on the couch.
I rolled my eyes. I didn't knew Miranda that well, but I doubt that she left with some random boy. „How about we search together? I mean she can't be that far gone." Natalia nodded her head. „How about Mason and You look upstairs and Jason and Me look downstairs?" We all agreed to that. Mason and I made our way upstairs, looking in every room. We were about to look in the next room when we heard a loud scream.
Mason and I ran downstairs to see where it came from. We saw through one of the windows Natalia crying on the floor, outside at the pool. Something is terrible wrong. When I got outside I saw Miranda's body laying  in the blood colored water. „Holy Shit." Mason cursed, while standing beside me. Natalia was crying hysterically. I kneeled to the ground to comfort her. „She can't be dead." Natalia cried into my shoulder. Right now I wanted to tell her, that there's still a chance that she's alive, I just wanted to make sure there's still hope, but I couldn't because I knew it would be a lie. Miranda's face was under the water and her lifeless body was floating on the surface in her blood. Her blood was replacing the clear blue water. I looked up to see Mason starring in shock at Miranda's lifeless body. „Uhm Mason, can you go back inside and call the police?" He looked at me and nodded blankly. Mason went back inside the house and left Natalia and me alone.
„Ella, who did this? What happened? I don't understand this." She cried into my shoulder.
I had a feeling who it could be, and he made his threat a reality. Whatever he did with Miranda, he'll get it back. „You better watch out, Freddy." I mumbled. Natalia looked up at me. „What did you say?" We both got up from the floor and waited for the police to arrive.
