Lunette opened her eyes later to the sound of crying. She looked around to see that it was a little past midday. Then she saw Atem at the foot of her bed with Merry in his arms as he tried to stop her crying a little. It was working, but only a bit.

Merry's skin was red and pealing away from the sunlight. Isis took the princess and found out that from Bastet that the newborn burned from being in the sun after an hour and a half. But the cat goddess had a gift for the little princess from Ra himself.

It was a dress and vail made with the magic of the sun. These would protect the princess from burning in the sun after a long while in the bright day. These gifts would grow with Merry's body as she got older so she wouldn't have to lose her freedom to being burned. Lunette and Atem had reason to worry about sun harming their daughter but there could still be trouble with the village children later.

But the announcememt for Merry's birth was in order and thousands by thousands people gathered at the palace for a grand and beautiful celebration. Royals, nobles, all showed up just like at their wedding, and Princess Tea was still among the crowd with her parents.

"Welcome one and all to this glorious day. The Thief King has been dead for over 10 moons now and his terror is finally at an end!" Atem spoke loud and clear over the crowd as cheers spread like wild fire. Lunette stode at his left smiling brightly at the people below while their cheers died down as the important part of the speech came. "And to mark this new era of peace, I present you all my first born daughter, heir, and future Queen: Princess "Lady" Merry Go-Round."

Seto held the princess high for all to see, all the citizens bowed in respect and started to raise their voices again. The crowd shouted the princess's name over and over, Merry giggled at them as if understood why the people below where shouting. Seto handed Merry back to Lunette as the royal couple moved to the throne room where a bassinet was placed for Merry to rest in between her parents. Many citizens brought homemade gifts, food, flowers, and gave praise to their new princess.

The other royals and nobles congratulated the king and queen on their daughter and only wished them the best of luck. Princess Tea, however, called the little princess a waste of life and ugly in her native language. Her mother scolded her and said to apologize for her unacceptable behavior, which the princess did through gritted teeth. Lunette eyes narrowed glowed with a raging fire that would burn her to ashes, only if looks could kill. Lunette had protected Egypt along with her husband's army and the Gods keeping watch from above. For the Gods' sake this princess could be respectful or civilized for a few hours and bitch about it later.

Tea just had to disgrace her parents in front of the Egyptian Rulers took piss of the whole court with her attitude. No wonder Mana said she'd prank the snobby girl, she didn't care about anyone but herself.
