"Alright youngsters, get outta here before Myron gets the vacuum out and sweeps you up!" Pops called out, signaling two things. Firstly, that it was almost time for their owners to come home. And secondly, the elderly basset hound wasn't going to tolerate anyone staying longer than what they were supposed to. Quietly, everyone glanced over at Myron, who was on top of the vacuum cleaner in an intimidating posture. Frightened, they raced out.

Swimming through the stampede of fleeing animals, Buddy and Sweetpea finally found Mel. The pug was sitting on a chair with this weird expression on his face like he had been shot by a tranquilizer dart. Breathing a sigh of relief that he finally found his friend, Buddy rushed over. "Mel, we have to go home now," the dachshund informed his pal.

"Okay..." Mel mumbled.

"Like... right now," Buddy persisted.

"Okay..." Mel repeated.

"Are you even listening to me?" Buddy asked.

"Uh huh..." Mel mumbled. Buddy and Sweetpea shared a look of concern before shrugging his shoulder. Together, the pair managed to pull Mel off the chair and drag him out the door. As he dragged Mel through the hallway with Sweetpea at his side, Buddy could hear Chloe coughing in the distance...
