We went in together, as two
You were wrought iron
Cold as steel
I was young, I was scared
You showed me the way
I touched you one last time
And then I set you on fire
I burnt you alive
I melted you into a puddle
I shielded my eyes
From your enraged beauty
You will always hold a special place in my heart
I was sloppy
You were messy
But you will always be my first weld
