When I was a little girl, I witnessed a disaster. .. and when I was 13 I decided what I was going to do with my life.
"Daddy, what would you say if I told you I wanted to be a Marine?"

When I turned 18, I enlisted into the Marine Core. My parents weren't too happy, for they would rather me be in the Navy or the USAF where I'd be less likely to get hurt. Now don't get me wrong I strongly considered them, but I realized that lifestyle wasn't right for me.
It's been 6 years. And I swear to god, I'll never be the same again.
