[Author's Note]

Before the chapter begins, I would like to notify that this and the few upcoming chapters will be about each character.

------------------------------------------------------

Today is currently the day after Harmonia asked me to be her guinea pig of sorts. She said that I should go and enjoy myself, commenting that even though I am her knight, I shouldn't be a bodyguard all the time.

Yesterday was Friday, and if going by the Gregorian calendar. As such, there are no classes today.

The school week is pretty much a typical American school week - 5 schooldays and the weekend consists of 2 days.

... how do I spend my days off?

By going back to sleep.

Getting up, I begin listening to a strange voice in my head, but I am unsure on what exactly to do. Never really went outside to "enjoy existence" to begin with, so why start now?

Getting out of bed, I put on a casual style outfit and head outside the dorm, already yawning when I just stepped out of the room.

Perhaps I could just go into the town at a cafe, I thought to myself whilst walking down the stairs and trying not to fall, wouldn't hurt to enjoy a nice drink.

Exiting the dorms, the temperature is better than usual - not my ideal, but close. Continuing onwards, I see that many other students of the academy also enjoy today's weather at their leisure - some setting up a sort of picnic arrangement whilst conversing under an oak, maple, willow, or even a crape myrtle.

Though I do overhear some conversations, they were particularly similar depending upon the tree. I could tell of specific topics, but that would be too bothersome - plus I have somewhere to go.

Looking at the various buildings, it was interesting to see how building materials varied - some used limestone protected by a layer of marble dust stucco to prevent damage from the weather, carved stone polished with chamois, and even pure white marble. In fact, a lot of the architectural styles appear to be of Greek origin (specifically Doric and Ionic) with a scifi touch, whereas the kingdom's architecture follows more of a tudor style.

Exiting the silver and gold gate of the school, the change in architecture and the material used for the ground allows one to understand they would step off campus - the brick sidewalk signifying the town and marble for the academy.

Though there are cafes near the academy, I decide to go to a cafe farther away - mostly because I want to reduce the chances of meeting a classmate.

Walking down the sidewalk, I notice a cafe called Diwata Café, where two hazel trees are on either side of the entrance, forming a sort of "tunnel". Out of curiosity, I enter to see what such a place - seemingly out of place - had to offer.

Within, much of the furniture, walls, and floor is made from cherry trees. At the center of the room, there is a large balete tree, seemingly 400 years old. Ordering a drink, I sit at one of the tables and simply take my time whilst deep in thought.

As I was doing so, some asks "may I sit down here?"

Looking up to see who is asking, it is a male - possibly in his 20s - wearing black jeans, an unbuttoned trenchcoat, black sneakers, and a shirt reading "totally not a human".
