I saw (y,n) one last time before saying goodbye to him, I gave him a kiss on his forehead, I couldn't cry, it didn't matter how hard I tried it was impossible, I just wish I could've supported you instead of leaving you alone during your final day.

I left the room where he was when I encountered Lance

"Hey young Lady..." he said

"Hey..." I said without stopping but then he grabbed my arm

"I already talk with my family, Diane wanted to know if you are fine, she would like to see you" he said then I started to struggle with him, I didn't want to see her, how could I tell her that I failed her

"Let me go!" I said but his grasp was hurting me, every time I struggle with him

"Quit acting like a child, I know what you promised to her, Grace and she is not mad, but she would like to talk to you" he said as I stopped struggling, then nodded

We arrived at Diane's house as soon as Lance opened the door Diane pushed him and hugged me, I was shocked, she wasn't mad at me Instead she was worried sick for me

"Thank god you are ok Grace, we saw the news" she said crying

"I'm sorry, I couldn't save (y,n)" I said

"oh sweetie it's fine, I know your line of work can be dangerous" Diane said

"But, I-I didn't even try to protect him, he told me to hold my position with Six" I said almost crying again

"What about you Lance, how are you?" Bruce asked him

"I'm good, a couple of bruises here and there BUT dude what about the soccer match" Lance said excited

"I can't believe you both!" Diane hit Lance and Bruce in the shoulder, that made me laugh a lot

"Guess someone is happy" Bruce said while rubbing his shoulder

"Come on Grace, you must be hungry let's go inside" Diane smiles at me

After we ate, I went to get a shower, I like Diane She has been so nice to me, when I left the bathroom I changed to a white shirt and black jeans and my favorite shoes and beanie obviously.
