I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing on the night stand. I turn onto my side and grab my phone without waking Tommy. As I check my phone I see that it is 10 in the morning, and that I got 3 missed calls and at least 4 texts from Addy(My best friend from High school). I start reading the text and gradually become more excited as I read.

9:30 Merry Christmas! Tommy's special gift is ready to be delivered!

9:35 Update your dog just left a 'gift' on Mack's lap. You should come get him before Mack kills him

9:40 Dude. Seriously. Come get your dog.

9:45 If you don't come get your dog I'm bringing him to you.

10:00 Omg I can't believe he actually gave Mack a gift (≧▽≦). Just bring him over, if I try to leave Tommy will wake up and the surprise will be ruined.

I put my phone back on the night stand and decide just to lay with Tommy until Addy gets here.

Time skip brought to you by Tommy being a dog person

20 Minutes later I get a text from Addy saying she's outside. I carefully detach myself from Tommy's warm embrace and run downstairs slipping on Tommy's boots so I don't freeze my feet in the snow. I run outside straight to Addy's car. Mack is in the driver's seat and Addy is in shotgun holding the little German Shepherd puppy. "Thank you so much for letting him stay at your place" I thank them. Addy gives me a bright smile "No problem. We loved having the little guy around! Right Mack?" Mack glares at the tiny puppy but his harsh glare slowly melts away "Yeah whatever. He better be house broken the next time I see him" Mack playfully warns. I give them both a smile "I promise he will be" I give Addy a hug and she gives me my adorable little puppy. I run back into the house my arms freezing from only being in the thin material of my Christmas PJs.

As soon as I'm inside I put a small Santa hat and outfit on the tiny puppy. I place the now dressed puppy into a wrapped box with holes in it under the tree. I give him a small treat so he would stay in the box when I heard my name being called "Y/N? Where'd you go?" Panicking slightly that he might come down stairs and ruin the surprise I run up the stairs. I run into our bedroom to see a tired Tommy sitting on the edge of the bed, stretching his stiff limbs. I walk over to him and give him a small peck "Merry Christmas" I say cheerfully. He gives me a tired smile and stands up wrapping me in a hug "Merry Christmas Y/N/N" we share a short passionate kiss before my excitement gets the better of me "Come on let's do presents!" I cheered dragging a sleepy Tommy down the stairs. We enter the living room and Tommy sits on the couch while I carefully pick up the box with the puppy in it, I carefully put the box next to him on the couch and sit crossed legged next to it. "Open this one first" I beamed, excitement lacing every word.  Tommy smile at my excitement carefully unties the red bow, before taking off the lid. Once the lid was off the tiny German Shepherd jumped up and barked happily

Tommy looks at the puppy with shock and awe. He carefully lifts the dog out of the box to which it responds by leaning forward and licking his nose. We both giggle at his actions. Tommy turns to me with the brightest smile on his face "What's his name?" "He doesn't have one yet" His smile only grows as I say this "How about we name you Jeff"

"Jeff? Why Jeff?"

"Why not? I like the name Jeff" 'Jeff' tilts his head to the side his hat falling off.

"Jeff it is" Jeff gave a happy yelp to the new name and started squirming in Tommy's lap. Tommy gently sets Jeff down and give me a tight hug. "Thank you so much. I love him but I love you more" I smile and cuddle into his side while we watch Jeff plays with the Santa hat that was on his head. "I love you the most"

We spent the rest of the day opening gifts, laughing, and welcoming Jeff to his new family. Tommy had gotten me a beautiful couples necklace that said "no matter where" I had gotten the one with the anchor while he got the one with the compass on it.

That night I fell asleep in Tommy's arms while Jeff slept on top of us. It really was a perfect Christmas
