Chapter 12

For some weird reason I felt like crying. I felt like I was drowning but I wasn't under water. What is happening?

I was laying on my bed, a few days after everything(last chapter basically). Today there wasn't anything wrong really. I went to the program and met a girl. She was 14, scarlet was her name. For some reason I felt my heard flutter when she spoke to me. I felt my face heat up when she left saying, "bye gal." I didn't know why I got so flustered towards her. What was happening to me? I just met her. I has to be nothing right?

I looked at the clock to see it was 12:30am. I sighed and rolled on my side facing he wall.

"You know," I heard depressions voice. "Your disgusting! You like her!" She growled out.

"I don't like her!" I screamed in denial. "I can't like her! We just met today! I barley know her!" I spoke as lowly as I could now because o reilized that if I kept screaming it would wake dad or the sides up.

"Pathetic! You don't even know what love is!" She laughed out.

"I-I..." I paused in thought. I didn't know what love was. I'm only 12. Was I supposed to know what love was..?

"See pathetic." She laughed And sunk down.

'Was I in love..?' I thought to myself. I gulped and just laid there on the bed in the darkness.

It was now morning, someone knocked on my door to tell me breakfast is ready. Normally it was virge since he's always in his room until Patton calls him. I don't always wake up. I got up and I wasn't even feeling tired. I guess it's nothing.. I opened my door to see dad.

"Hi dad," I smiled but he raised an eyebrow.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Uhh Yeah..?" I was confused. "Why?" I tilted my head.

"I just... never mind, come on." Dad walked away. I followed him but I was a bit confused.

"Hey kiddos!" Patton greeted, I saw everyone sitting at the table. I sat down and said hello to everyone. The day went by as normal. I had my classes with Logan, watched Roman and Virgil argue, listened to my sides. I suddenly heard the phone ring.

Patton answered it, "Hello?" He paused. "Oh yeah! She's right here!" Patton smiled and handed the phone to me.

"Uhh hi..?" I didn't really know who would phone me.

"Hey gal!" I heard masons voice.

"Oh hey mason, what's up?" I didn't remember giving him my number but I didn't care that much.

"I wanted to know if you wanted to met up after school. Scarlet and some others will be there." I thought about it and decided to ask dad.

"Hold on let me ask." I turned to dad who was sitting at the table. "Hey dad?" I walked up to him.

"Hmm?" He stopped whatever he was doing and turned to me.

"Can I go to the park tomorrow after Logan's lessons?" I asked.

"Of course gal. I'll drive you if you want since it's a while away." I nodded and told mason I could.

"Great! Cya tomorrow!" We said goodbye and hung up.

"Who was that kiddo?" Patton asked.

"Oh it's one of my friends from the activity's!" He smiled as I told him.

"Okay kiddo, wanna learn how to cook?" My eyes lit up.

"Yes!" I said excitedly.

While cooking Patton paused and turned to me.

"Kiddo can I ask you something?" Patton questioned.

"Yeah..?" I tilted my head.

"We heard you scream some words last night. We all ran to your room and opened the door a bit and saw someone that looked like you but you were on the bed." Patton saw my shock.

"I-I... Umm.." I didn't want to tell them yet about my side considering how I have a depression side.

"Do it have sides..?" He asked. I was frozen at the question. Could I really...? I knew that the others were only a few steps away.

"Galaxy! I have news!" I heard emotion squealing. I gulped and sighed in defeat.

"Yeah Emotion?" Emotion didn't notice the others in the room.

"I-..." she thought for a moment. "I can't remember.." she looked more in thought.

"Hey Emotion?" She hummed and looked at me. "How do I summon the others?"

"Oh that's easy! Just say their names and image them!" Emotion smiled.

"Worry! Intelligent! Courage!" I screamed. They all appeared.

"What?! We're... Uh oh.." worry was the first to say anything. Now all my sides noticed them.

"Oh no! This is all my fault isn't it?!" Emotion gulped.

"Uhh no! It's.. uhhh..." I Don't want to say her name but I sighed. "It's dep... she came last night and I yelled at her.. they thought something was wrong and saw her with me.."

"Oh I will destroy her!" Courage screamed and sank down.

"Who's dep kiddo?" Patton asked.

"Oh that depression!" Emotion said without thinking.

"Emotion!" I screamed out. She only then realized what she did wrong and gulped.

"Depression..?" Dad repeated. I looked over at him to see shock filling his face.

"I-I..." I looked like I was going to cry.

"I'm sorry! I wasn't... um..." I could feel the tears whelm. I broke down in tears since Emotion was crying and depressions way on me.

"Gal it's okay," I felt someone hug me.

"D-Dad..." I felt a new wave of sadness go over me. I sobbed more.

Nothing will ever get better...
