"You pick the skinniest nigga to help you. You were better off getting Suge to carry all of these damn boxes!" Snoop complained as he leaned against the wall, wiping the beads of sweat away from his forehead. "I didn't want Suge to help me, now hush and bring the rest of the boxes in here so we can get started." He flipped me the bird before his tall, lanky figure made it's way outside.

I had everything I needed for the nursery but nothing was set up yet so I wanted to get it done before it was too late. I was expecting another set of hands, but Larenz hadn't call to make a rain check or anything. I didn't know him from a can of paint so I couldn't really feel any type of way for him not showing up. But then again, yes I could.

It was wrong to make Snoop do all of the work, so I called his two partners to come help out- the dynamic duo, Daz and Kurupt. I had to call three times until they finally picked up the phone. Apparently, they were occupied with some groupies who were actually there for Dre and Snoop, but settled for those two instead.

I watched him struggle to carry as many things as he could into the house, including walking up the stairs to put them inside the nursery. I tapped my foot against the concrete as I waited outside. I glimpsed at the vehicle that suddenly pulled up in my driveway. It was a group of people so I knew it couldn't have been Larenz, but once my eyes landed on the drivers side, I noticed that it was Eazy- the last person I expected to pay me a visit.

Out of all the times he could've showed up, I couldn't believe it was now, considering the fact that Snoop was here. I just hoped there would be no altercation. Bone piled out of the impala along with Eazy, making their way up the driveway. "What's good, Mika?" Eazy grinned as his tank figure embraced me in a hug.

"Hey, Eazy. Uh, what brings you over here?" I rubbed the back of my neck nervously, feeling far over the edge. "Me and the fellas were cruisin' around so we just wanted to come see you and your place. And I bought a gift for your daughter." He motioned for Layzie to go to the car to retrieve it.

"Oh, you shouldn't have." I forced a smile but I was still getting more and more nervous. "Alright, I need a break, Mika-" Snoop stood at the doorframe, his sentence coming to a complete halt once he saw my company. Eazy only chuckled before folding his arms, clearly unbothered by the situation.

"Yeah, you can take a break. It seems like I have an extra pair of hands to help." I looked back at Snoop, hoping that he wouldn't do anything stupid. Thankfully, he didn't say a word and walked passed them so he could take a seat on the trunk of his car.

As the group of guys went to get the rest of the things, Eazy grabbed a hold of my arm before I could go talk to Snoop to make sure he was good. "Hey, Mika, I ain't come here to start any shit with the nigga. That's as long as he don't start anything with us, alright?" Eazy lowered his shades, glancing over at Snoop who's attention was on rolling up his joint.

"Listen, Snoop's homies are coming over as well and if you all really care about me, you wouldn't cause any problems. Especially since we're in the suburbs and these white people people don't play when it comes to disturbing the peace." I pleaded with him.

"I got you, I got you." He reassured me before he made his way over to the truck to grab the few boxes I had left. I slowly walked down the pavement towards Snoop. "Are you gonna help me up there or am I just gonna have to do it myself?" I asked, looking up at him. He kissed his teeth before leaning forward to grab my hand as I carefully hopped on the trunk of his car.
