IT WAS 90 DEGREES, which was the perfect weather for a day on the beach. Touring life was still going well and I couldn't complain. Jewell was now traveling on the road with me, alongside Brielle and they became close as soon as they met. Brielle just had the personality that you gravitated towards on the first moment you uttered a sentence to her.

And she was also someone that wasn't afraid to go to war with and for you. She went from being a fan to being a friend that Mika didn't know she needed.

"This year has been flying, I can't believe it's going to be another year pretty soon. Do you have any resolutions?" Brielle teased, throwing her arms across me and Jewell's shoulders.

"I hope that I can get over my ex. We haven't spoken in forever yet I'm still in my feelings over his ass. Who would've thought that Jewell would be crazy over a man? A younger one at that. Nine years younger to be exact. " She shook her head in confusion, not being able to comprehend it.

"It was bound to happen. But, my resolution is to already be in college to become a music teacher. I wish I could've did this after graduating from high school but then I wouldn't have been able to meet my amazing friends and the love of my life." I looked down at the glistening diamond on my ring finger.

I never took it off and had no intentions on doing so either-it was sacred to me. "Do you know at what school you would considering teaching?" I shrugged my shoulders, due to the fact that I hadn't thought about it.

"I don't know, but I'll take whatever is offered to me." I responded as we walked on the sandy beach, gaining attention from strangers due to them noticing who we were.

"How's Tupac and Amara?" Jewell questioned as she laid out her blanket over the sand before laying flat across her stomach. "They're actually doing pretty good. I don't see how Tupac is managing his career as well as taking care of our little girl. He told me that she's starting to be all over the place and getting into any and everything. Since she's been walking, she doesn't know how to act." I smiled at the thought of my daughter, instantly making me miss her even more.
