WHEN WE GOT BACK from our trip days ago, I brought back home a new attitude and pushed Larenz to do the same. I was determined to fix our issues, one way or another. I booked us therapy sessions since I felt it was very much needed.

Our relationship wasn't perfect but I was willing to make things better between us. Since we went to our first appointment, things were starting to look out for us. We could actually be around one another without getting upset over something so stupid.

"This Biggie situation is getting dragged on and I can't stand it. Can you actually believe that they were friends at one point?" Jewell sat across from me at a small diner on Slauson Avenue.

"Girl, who are you telling? I still haven't heard the diss though, is it bad? I mean, I know it's bad but how bad is it?" I questioned, taking a bite out of my barbecue sandwich.

"You're meaning to tell me you haven't heard the track yet?" She looked at me as if I had grown two heads. "I mean, Tupac offered to let me listen to it but I just didn't want to. But I guess I have no choice when it drops, right?" I stated rhetorically with a shoulder shrug.

"Right. I tried telling Yak not to get in that mess but he's loyal to Pac and he's willing to do any and everything for his big cousin." Jewell shook her head, frowning slightly.

"Well, speaking of Mr. Yaki Kadafi, what's been going on with you two? I'm still surprised that you and him are together, it was so unexpected." Her face beamed with joy.

"Mika, he makes me so happy. I've never thought that this young man would have me sprung that way that he does. I'm glad that I gave him a chance instead of brushing him off. Who would've thought that Jewell would get into a relationship?" She sounded as if she was in disbelief.

"I can tell that he's really got you hooked, but I'm happy that you're happy." I smiled as I finished the rest of my food. "Yeah, but enough about me. How's counseling been for you and your future hubby?" She wiggled her eyebrows in a playful manner.
