OMNISCIENT

MARCH HAD ROLLED AROUND and things weren't going in Mika's favor at all. She was receiving the silent treatment from both Tupac and Larenz, and it was causing her hell inside and out. Her album was completed but it was pushed back due to the lack of promotion and how tense it was at Death Row. Dre was officially gone so he could start his own label and that was the cause of things going through a downward spiral.

Tupac would either allow one of the Outlawz or his mother, if she was in town, to pick Amara up or drop her off so he could avoid seeing Mika. And they never saw each other at work because Mika wasn't around due to the tension and how things were getting real bad in the atmosphere.

Death Row Records already had it's fair share of violence and wild encounters, but it was getting more and more crazy.

Since Mika still hadn't found her engagement ring, Larenz threw himself deeper into his work, shooting the romantic film and doing press. It made him upset.

However, besides that, Amara was growing fast. She had turned a year old and Tupac and Mika celebrated her birthday separately, due to him and her not being on the same page at the time. But Mika hoped that things would be different so Amara's second birthday could be better.

Mika didn't want their daughter to see them not getting along but she didn't want to fake it either. As long as she knew that they loved her, that was all that mattered to Mika.

"I've never seen a more complicated relationship. You're meaning to tell me the two of you are still not talking?" Afeni questioned Mika as she bounced Amara who was sitting on her lap.

Mika went to Tupac's house in hopes of mending their relationship but unbeknownst to her, he wasn't even there but his mother was-watching over his house while he was gone.

"No, Faye, we aren't talking. I just don't know what to say about us anymore. Every time I think that our relationship has gotten better, something happens and all of the progress is erased. I hate the fact that we couldn't celebrate Amara's birthday together, that hurt me," Mika looked down at the hardwood floor.
