I've been sad for too long.
But when it's dark outside
And the moon shines through my window,
I read for hours
Until the sun rises and the birds chirp.
I've suddenly found something
To take away the pain.
Even if it's only for a while.
The lines written on these pages
Can make me smile more than I do in reality.
If only I could read forever.
Then maybe I wouldn't be so sad.
