The bell rings snapping me out of my daze. I gather my stuff quickly and make my way towards the door to head to my next class. As the day progressed I went from class to class, hoping the end of the day would come faster. The time was close to lunch as I make my way to my car to head back home. I didn't have anymore classes after lunch since I was a senior thank goodness.
Unlocking the door and sitting in the drivers seat I notice my phone buzz in my right hand. I look at it concerned, wondering if its my parents asking me how my first day went, but it ends up being someone I don't know.

I roll my eyes and lock my phone. That sly little bastard texted himself off of my phone, just to get my phone number. Clever but annoying. The engine roars as my car warms up as I'm ready to pull out of the parking lot. Today was the longest day in the history of days. I made a couple of friends, well technically acquaintances since I've met them today. Three boys and one girl. They were nice to say the least.
I make it home and run up to my room to start planning my party for the end of the week. I follow as many people as possible that attend my school on Facebook and PM all of them, letting them know about my banger on Friday. As I order a ton of drinks online with my dads credit card, my mind drifts off to the dumb boy in first period.
Luke was something I couldn't shake. Of course I was attracted to boys like him and I could tell he was attracted to me. But then again I just met the guy. Who knows, maybe he has skeletons in his closet daring me to discover. The way his eyes fell on mine was indescribable. His eyes held a secret, a dark but kind secret. I wanted to know more about him, he was on the edge of my mind 24/7 and I need to make it my duty to weave my way into his life.
It was the least I could do, for him troubling me for the past couple of days. I grab my journal and jot down what the day held and drift off to sleep in the process.
