Going out

Colby's p.o.v

  I woke up in my corner. I must have fallen asleep because of crying so much. I then hear a small whisper,Elton. I open my eyes to find Elton in my room lightly shaking me awake. It took me a few minutes to get the sleep fog out of my head. Then my memories came crashing down on me. Then I heard Elton, again. "Colby, get up, we need to go to target." His voice was soft and gental it probably was like that so he does not scare me. I mean I have been in my room for...how long now? I lost count, I guess. "What?" My voice was raspy probably because of the crying, " Colby, get up we need to go to the store." I look up at him and he softly smiles them I feel his hand on my arm and I look to see what he was doing, my arm was turned over to show my wrist, I looked back up at his face and he seemed relived. "What you looking for on my wrist?" I asked him. He looked at me and began speaking "oh, nothing, I was trying to get you up." Like I believe that, he just lied straight to my face. Then again I can't blame him. He's just looking out for me and Sam probably warned him that I might cut because Sam was the only other one that would cheek my wrists on a daily basis and make sure I didn't have sharp objects in my room ever so often. The only other person that knows I cut was Corey. He was a good friend too, but he would let Sam take over most of the time but when Sam was not hear he would fill in for him, but now that Sam's gone Corey might need a little help so I guess Elton was his choice. "Colby, are you ok, Colby?" " what" I was pulled out of though by Elton. "Are you ok?" "Elton, I'm fine." He looked at me concerned, I then stood up. He stood up not a second later. "Ok well, I'm going to let you get dressed, so that we can go to the store." I nod and he walked out of my room and closes my door behind him. I then walk to my bathroom and look at myself in the mirror. Then It started "why are you still breathing? You know he's only looking out for you because he was told to, by the person who left YOU behind?" It was true he does not care, well not really anyway. I could tell that today was going to be a long day. I walked out of my bathroom and walked over to my closet. I took out a black ripped t-shirt, ripped black skinny jeans, and my black shoes. I changed into them ran my fingers through my hair because I did not want to have to look at my self in the mirror again. I then walked out of my room down the stairs and to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and then I closed it. I was then start eked by Aaron, he was looking at me like he had just seen a ghost. Then he smiled softly and spoke. "Are you going to eat something? You have not eaten in a few days." He asked "I don't know, I'm really not that hungry." He then grabbed an apple and said "catch" so I did then I looked at him in a 'are you serious' look and he just nodded. I looked at the apple and took a bite. Then he walked away. I then exited the kitchen with the apple Aaron gave to me, and walked into the living room, were I saw Elton waiting for me. " Colby, are you ready?" "Ya just let me go grab my phone." He nodded and went to get his keys. I then made my way up the stairs to my room, once I got there I grabbed my phone. Once I did, I turned it on and looked at the battery, it was at 20%. so I put it on the it on the charger and walked out of my room again, and make my way towards Elton. "Did you get your phone?" "No, it was dead." "Ok, let's go then."
A/N: like 5min time skip

Once I got in the car Elton put on music from his phone into his stereo because he did not like the music on the radio. The first song that came up was 'the worst day of my life' by Alec Benjamin. I then looked out the window and watched as the world went by like a blur only listening to my defending thoughts.

Elton's p.o.v

Colby did not cut yet which was good. I was really surprised when Sam asked me to look over Colby while he was gone I thought that job was to go to Corey, then he said I would have the help of Corey, and that Corey has helped Colby when he was gone, he explaind that since he had to leave, he would recruit me to help Corey because Corey could not do it on his own. That night I talked to Corey and Sam also talked to him. We had a plan, that when it comes to Cloby and/or his life, we contact Sam emedietly. Sam also explained that his family does not like phones for some strange reason, but he was going to store one on him at all times, just in case, I'm hoping it does not get to that point. I look over at Colby he seems to be deep in thought, we were at the store and he had finished his apple. I lightly taped him, he jolted away from his thoughts and looked...scared, almost. "We're here." I said pointing to target "ok." Is all he gave me before looking down and opening his door to get out of the car. I then got out of the car after turning off my music and pocketing my phone. This morning I had made sure Sam was my emergency contact and that Corey was too. So that,just in case, I have them both on speed dial. I then locked my car and looked at Colby who was leaning up against a poll. "Colby, you ready?" "Ya" then we walked into the store and stared shopping I could tell that Colby was going to be out of it a little.

Time skip to after all the shopping,

When we were done shopping and loading the car with the shopping bags, we headed home. Once we got there Corey came out of the house then spotted us. He yield something at the guys and walked over to Colby and me. He helped with the grosserys and so did the guys once we were done Colby took another apple and went up stairs. I walked over to the bean bags and sat down I then heard Colby's door close. He's been getting more distant by the second. He has not smiled once since this morning. Maybe I should send Corey to cheek on him later. My phone then buzzed, it was Sam, he finally got time to himself.
E=ELTON S=SAM

S- how's Colby?
E-he keeps saying that he is fine, but I don't believe him for a moment. He's aten 2 apples since he's woken up.
S- good, um, you need to cheek on Colby at night too, why, because he's normally awake at 2:50 and will sneak out and sometime not come home till the next night. So please if it does happen you make sure u know were he's going, and always make sure he has his phone if he does.
E- ok, I will make sure he's ok at night. Does Corey know?
S- ya, he does
E-ok
S- I need to go my parents are calling me. Bye,talk to you again later.
E-alright, bye.
I look up from my phone to find Corey heading out the door. "I'm going out for a while" "k, bye." He then walked out of the house and I just turned on the t.v and watched 'Voltron legendary defenders' over again.
