Synopsis:
It all starts with a summer job. While most young adults are living the hashtag travel life, Cleo is spending the hot tedious days cleaning motel rooms. This wasn't what she imagined her life would be like at twenty.
Life has a funny way of not giving a fuck about one's goals or four-year plans. For example, Cleo never imagined herself dropping out of college after a car accident left her mother paralyzed. Also, Cleo never saw the love of her life ditching her when she needed him the most.
All Cleo wants is adventure, love, passion, and perhaps a good high, but reality is far from what we dream.
Yet Cleo gets her dream when a mysterious James Dean looking boy rolls into town. He's got the devil in his cool steel shaded eyes and hands that are naughty wicked. Suddenly summer isn't so bad.
Cleo's story truly begins here, and it's up to her to decide how badly she wants it. Bad boys are like drugs and Cleo's an addict, and with this handsome stranger it's no different. His mystery quickly turns into lies, danger, and even kidnapping!
This is the summer of magic, discovering a hideaway town, and how much love really cost when it's a deadly addiction.
Cleo realizes that life isn't always about what you feel, but the importance of how love is more powerful than a drug, but will it be too late?
