Chapter Thirty-Two

You and Ed looked at each other and nodded seeing the invitations.

"This is great. Thank you." Ed nods.

You both see the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen invitations and approve them.

"And if you would see the venue..." Linda nodded.

You both went along and chose a section of the beach.

Sam stuck in some poles and you guys went back.

"Alright Sir. The list of guests?"

Ed handed a list. "Two hundred fifty."

"Okay. See you in the coming April." Sam nodded and smiled and you waved.

You both told Peter but warned him not to tell Lucy.

Peter laughed but agreed.

Several weeks later-

"Hey, I'm taking a holiday tomorrow." You inform Ed.

"Oh?" He looked up, "Why?"

"It's mid March. About time I get the dress, you see." You grin.

Ed's eyes light up, "Really? Can I come along?"

"You know, you can't. For the sake of surprise." You laugh.

Ed pouts, "Please?"

"Nope." You shake your head.

"Fine." Ed grumbles.

You sit on his lap and pinch his nose.

"Ow." Ed playfully glares at you.

"You're so cute." You laugh.

You know Lucy is going to kill you if you don't tell her at least now.

So you ask Linda and Sam for Peter's and Lucy's invitations and you and Ed invite them, formally.

"You mean the wedding is a half a month away?!" Lucy gaped.

"Yes?" You grin.

"Ohmygod! Did you guys plan everything? Don't tell me you're starting now--"

"Lucy, Breathe." Ed laughed.

"I can't breathe." Lucy laughed.

"Now, keeping that aside, I--" You started.

"Are you seriously keeping your wedding aside?" Lucy cut you off.

"Yes. Now you are coming with me to pick my dress." You grin.

"Wait, really?" Lucy's eyes light up.

"Yes, come on!" You smiled. "Ed, sweetheart, tell Peter we both are taking an off today."

"Will do." Ed nodded, "Have fun, you two."
"You bet we will." Lucy smiled.

"Are we going to the shops? Ooooor?" Lucy asked.

"We'll see the Royal catalogues first?" You ask.

"Totally. It'll be with Amanda. Come on." Lucy grinned.

"Those are a lot." You gaped at the stack of catalogues Amanda put on the desk.

"Those are about 1300 models ma'am. They are organised by lengths, materials and types. Custom made ones can be ordered." She narrates.

"Uh...Lucy, I think we'll find it in this." You say.

"I'm sure. Now let's get to work." Lucy grabbed half the catalogues and you take the rest.

The room is silent except for occasional 'Check this out!' or 'What about this?' and it was better that way.

"Adara! Check this out!" Lucy shows you a dress.

"Woah. I think we should go with this." You grinned.

"Looks beautiful, doesn't it?" Lucy smiles.

"Yeah." You grin.

"Right, then. This is it." Lucy nods.

"Alright, Amanda. This one." You show her.

"Give me two days madam, it's yours." She smiled.

"Great, thank you." You smiled.

"Thanks for accompanying, Lucy. I don't know what I'd do without you." You grinned.

"Aw. It's alright, Adara. I had such fun." She smiles.

Ed raised his eyebrow as you came in. "About time you came. You've been in there since morning, I thought you died."

You roll your eyes and grin, "Get ready to stare in wonder."

"What, you're showing your dress to me?" He grins.

"Nope." You grin.

Ed pouts, but you won't hear of it.

Ed went the next day for his tuxedo along with Peter.

"So, what, Ed? Excited?" Peter slapped his back.

"Totally." Ed grinned.

"Wow, little bro, you're all grown up." Peter grinned.

"Why don't you just shut up?" Ed rolled his eyes.

Ed didn't want to waste time. He went straight to the Custom made ones, chose his cloth, gave his measurements and was done with in two hours.

"Why did you even call me if I don't get to select?" Peter rolled his eyes.

"Fine, go." Ed rolled his eyes.

"No." Peter grins.

"Then how about not complaining and shutting up?"

"Rude."

"You know what? Just don't talk."

"Is that the way you talk with your older brothe--"

"My room is here. Bye." Ed cut him off and left while Peter was trying not to laugh.

Sometimes, it was great fun annoying Ed.

With a week to go for your wedding, everything was in a buzz.

James, Kelia, Mrs. Blackwood, Alex, Alice, arrived today morning.

The media has been going crazy.

Your invitations are out and you didn't forget sending them to your Limen friends along with everyone in your cricket team.

The venue was set and they didn't let you or Ed see it because 'surprises are nice.'

James brought Margaret along.

Everything was set.
