The next day, you visited the historical sites.

"--And this is where we fought the battle of Ajlaw." He pointed to a vast meadow.

You moved closer to see information written on a marble tablet.

You ran your hand over it. But you notice another tablet, beside it, in another language.

"David?" You call and he makes his way.

"Yeah?" He grins.

"Which language is this?" You asked.

"It is our native language--Kairal." He nods.

"Isn't that awesome." You grin. "Next time I come here, I'm not going without learning it."

"I will teach you myself, if I have to." He smiles.
---
"--This was a gift given by Gvalim."

You craned your neck to see the top of a huge statue of a man with a sword at his waist and a scroll in his hands. Gvalim is another kingdom.

"Ed, check this out!" You call as you see the information tablet again, "Given as a promise of peace after the War of Gvalim, this stands till today, the tallest statue along the crestern* countries!"

"That is impressive." Ed peeks over your shoulder. "I didn't know you were into history."

"I mean, it's the new things that excite me, you know?"

Ed nods and smiles, "Right."
---
And so it went on. You ended got day with an amazing dinner in one of the local restaurants. Limen's food was so unique and you loved it.

"Man, that was really tasty." You grin, walking back to the castle in the moonlight.

"Right? It was so amazing!" Lucy grinned.

Ed tapped your shoulder at the gates.

"Yeah?" You look.

"You wanna hang out a bit?" He asks, gesturing to the gardens.

"Great idea, come on." You inform Lucy that you'll be in late in case anyone asks, and join Ed again.

Sitting on fresh grass was so refreshing.

"Did you have anything in mind?" You ask.

"About?" He asks.

"About what to do, what to talk about..." You continue, "What you want to share. Anything. It's not like someone's hearing us."

"I don't know..." He shrugs.

You sit in silence for a while before he continues.

"I was just wondering, why do I talk so much when I'm with you?"

You chuckle, "You should know that! Not me!"

"Man, I have no idea. I just go rambling and babbling. Like it's out of my control." He laughs.

"Well, I certainly don't mind, if you have to know." You smile. "I really like knowing your perspective."

"My perspective, huh?" He smiles.

He pulls you closer and you rest your head on his shoulder.

"Quite cold out here, tonight." You say as you rub your palms together.

"Maybe we should head in. It is cold." He says and you nod in agreement.

You walk back and realise you're leaving the next day. Sighing, you pack all your belongings and the trophy will keep circulating from kingdom to kingdom each month, apparently.
