11. Boston

I could hear Agatha's aunt talking to her in the kitchen and her soft replies and as soon as I knew she was out of range, I updated her uncle on what Simon's team had found.
"You had someone in his house?" He queried.
"My father is very proactive and started investigating the man last night, Simon our family head of security arrived here this morning, and will be overseeing her safety" I told him.
"Head of security?" He asked looking bemused.
"Sir, I just want you to be aware I will do everything I can to make sure she's safe, I have a security detail on the house and a team watching Jonathan's movements"
Her uncle looked at me, sizing me up "okay" he says nodding to himself, "I believe you, I don't understand it all but I can see how Aggie is with you and you seem to know what you're doing, but Boston, if you hurt her, I don't care who your parents are, I'll make you sorry"
I held out my hand to him to shake "sir, I won't but if I every do anything to hurt her, I'll hand myself over voluntarily" I promised him.
Carter and James watch us silently until Aggie and her aunt return, this time with Simon with them, I introduce him to her family and pull Aggie back into my side protectively.
"Aggie baby, do you want to know what's happening, I don't want you to get upset or stressed but I don't want to lie to you about what's going on" I ask her watching her expression change as she considers my words. I watch as strength shows in her eyes and she grasps my hand.
"I want to know" she tells me.
"If it gets too much, you need to tell me" I caution her.
"I will" she agrees softly.
I look at the people around the room watching us.
"Okay, Simon let's hear what's going on".

Simons update included a little more than what we knew this morning, we knew when his flight would arrive and that he had reserved a car and booked a hotel just off campus, we had twelve hours till his flight was due to touch down, but Simon had already put a guy at the airport and was going to put a tracker on the hire car and had done something at the hotel to ensure they could monitor him.
My parents were on their way to England to see Aggies parents, Simon had spoken to dad and would have a car ready for them, we discussed the best way to warn her parents of the impending visit and it was Aunt Sarah who suggest they phone and say they had friends who were going to pop in and see them with some gift she had sent over, once face to face, it could be explained better.
Aggie had been worried her parents would panic but her aunt had reassured her.
Simon had outlined the security detail on the house and produced a jewellery box which he handed to me, I knew what was in it before I opened it, we all had one, James and mine were on leather bands which we never removed, I knew this one would be more feminine, like moms and my sister in laws.  Aggies was a delicate twisted platinum and rose gold band with my family crest in the center, Aggie had tried to object as it being too valuable, she didn't seem to mind the tracker, just the precious metal worried her, but James this time helped me to persuade her, showing her his and pointing out mine and her aunt had gasped softly, tears in her eyes when I had kissed her pulse point and told her she was priceless to me, as I locked it in place round her wrist.
Carters stomach rumble was loud enough to make us all laugh breaking the tension in the room.
"Lets go out to lunch" James suggested to the room, Carter agreed but his parents decided this would be a good opportunity to head home, Aggie hugged them and I watched as they promised to be there if she needed  them, I was glad she had family who cared, her uncle shook my hand "look after her" he grated emotionally and I nodded before her aunt pulled me into a hug whispering "I'm pleased you found each other".
Carter had stepped back and I could still see the guilt on his face as he said goodbye to his parents, relief showing when they both hugged him tight before leaving.
"What do you want for lunch baby?" I asked her, I knew this afternoon would be a calm before the storm for us all and wanted her to enjoy herself.
"I don't mind" she muttered looking shy all of a sudden.
Carter laughed "she likes Italian, burgers, seafood, ice-cream" he told me "she embarrassed she's got a appetite and doesn't live of lettuce leaves like most females".
Aggie blushed red and hid her face in my side.
"I like your curves baby, you're beautiful and I'm glad you eat real food" I tell her as she peeks up at me, her eyes wide.
"Italian?" I ask and she nods.
Simon excused himself to the study to contact his teams and dad, promising us an update later.

Lunch and the afternoon was an exercise in getting to know her and her know me, the restaurant I had chosen was away from campus so we had no distractions, Carter helped draw Aggie out and we talked sports to give her a break so she could just relax around us and when we left the restaurant and she automatically grabbed my hand I felt my heart lift and once again chucked my keys to James so I could sit in the back with her and hold her hand all the way home.

Simon was waiting for us when we got back "your parents have landed in England" he told me.
"I've set up a video conference call, so you can talk to them before they visit Agatha's parents"
I felt Aggie tense again but knew there was little I could do to help her relax, she would soon see it would all be okay.
"Come on baby, lets go introduce you to my parents" she gasped but followed my tug towards the study.
