20. Agatha

"This way" I smiled nervously, as I lead Amy through the art department towards the photography lab.
"Hey, don't worry, I'm friendly and I'm here to protect you" she said quietly, having heard my nerves in my voice.
"I'm sorry, it's just, I hate the thought that people may get hurt for me, he's been a threat and a part of my life for so long, I don't know how to relax around strangers and I don't know how to make friends, as I worry being my friend will end badly"
"I get it, but let's start positively, hi I'm Amy and I will be following you around for the foreseeable future" she held out her hand to shake, making me laugh at her serious expression.
"Hi Amy, I'm Aggie and it's good to meet you and I'm glad you're here to watch my back" I shake her hand and we share a smile "good we are no longer strangers, so now let's get to class and see how badly I can repeat my college years"
I felt more at ease as we entered the classroom, maybe Amy and I could be friends, I know I was a job, but she seemed genuine and it had been a long time since I had had a real girl friend, to gossip with.
"Repeat college?" I query quietly, watching the other students make there way into the room.
"Yeah, I'm 27, it's been six years since I graduated."
My jaw dropped at her words, she didn't look 27, hell she didn't even look 21.
"I know, I look much younger, it comes in useful sometimes, especially with undercover work" she explains.
The teacher entering stops our conversation but I'm intrigued by Amy and my brain whirls with questions I am dying to ask her.
"Later" she whispers grinning at me and I smile back.

At break I grill Amy on what she does and am amazed at her, she looks like a nerdy art student but has done and seen so much "I wish I was as strong as you" I said and she laughed "Agatha, after what you've been through to keep going forward is pure strength and now you're part of the Masters family, you'll soon find your feet, trust me" she gives me a quick hug and I smile tearily "thank you".
We are just getting ready for class to restart when one of the other students join us, "Hey, you're Agatha right?" She looks me up and down and her lip curls down.
"That's me"
"I know it's probably just a rumour, I can't believe it could be true but are you with Boston Masters?"
I feel Amy move up beside me "where did you hear that? She questioned with a laugh.
"Everyone's saying she left the party with him Friday and hasn't been back to her dorm since" she said watching my face.
"I was at the dorm on Saturday with my cousin Carter" I tell her and watch as relief crossing her face.
"I knew it was a lie, there's no way you could snag Boston Masters" she laughed at me before going back to her desk.
I exchanged a look with Amy who pulled out her phone, sending off a quick message.
"If Jonathan hears about Boston he will go after him" I tell her panicking.
"Aggie, calm down, it will be alright, come on the lesson is starting again, we will talk about it at lunch when we are all together".

At the end of the lesson, Amy checks her phone and pulls me back to let everyone go first, "is there a back way out, change of plans we are meeting the boys at the cafeteria?"
"There's a staff exit" I nod and lead the way, feeling nervous as we slip out the door and hurry across the campus, anxious to make sure everyone is safe.
We are the first to arrive and grab a table big enough for all of us, in a corner where we had a good view of the door, deciding to wait for the others before getting food. I fidget nervously as I wait and worry about Boston's safety, until I see him I know I'll worry and then, he's there, in front of me and I squeal as he pulls me up into his arms before sitting back down with me on his lap. "You're okay?" I ask him softly my hands cupping his face as my gaze searches his.
"Baby, I'm fine, how are you doing?" He asks hugging me tight and kissing my forehead. I sigh as my body relaxes into his.
I search the room for Carter and James but they're in the queue for food, I can see people giving them strange looks as they laugh at something together.
"Everyone is talking about us, some girl asked if it was true we were together, she didn't believe it and I didn't know what to say" I rush out.
"Carter and James were asked as well, You should say yes, as loud and proud as you want to, we have nothing to hide baby, I'm yours, only yours now and forever" he tells me kissing me again.
I glance round the room and notice a number of students looking at us, a couple had their phones out pointed our way and I hid my face in Bostons side.
"But it puts you at risk, Jonathan will hurt you, I can't stand it, if he hurts you because of me" I worry.
"Baby, I don't care if he comes after me, I'm ready and I'm sure Simon is prepared for it, I'd rather he came at me than you, i will be careful though, please don't worry" his hands stroked and down my back soothingly and I tried to relax.
Carter and James returned with loaded trays, with a selection of foods for everyone including Amy, we had just started to eat when Simon and Jared join us.
