23. Boston

Jared hurried us across the campus to where the girls were waiting for us.
I could hear Carter and James saying something to him but my focus was on reaching Aggie, I needed to check she was okay. The thought of Jonathan being so close to her, hit me in the gut, she was in danger and I didn't know what else I could do to keep her safe, without wrapping her in cotton wool and hiding her away at home, but I knew she wouldn't allow that and it would just drag out the worry.
Aggie and Amy were there and sat waiting for us, they had found a table big enough for all of us in the corner facing the door, I could see the worry on Aggies face and rushed across the room to her, pulling her up into my arms where she belonged before sitting back down holding her close to me.
Her small hands cup my face "you're okay?" She asks softly and I feel my heart swell with love for her. "Baby, I'm fine, how are you doing?" I ask hugging her tight and kissing her forehead. I can see her eyes searching for the others and her body relaxed as she saw them in the queue. I can see people giving them strange looks as they laugh at something together.
"Everyone is talking about us, some girl asked if it was true we were together, she didn't believe it and I didn't know what to say" She rushes out.
"Carter and James were asked as well, You should say yes, as loud and proud as you want to, we have nothing to hide baby, I'm yours, only yours now and forever" I tell her and kiss her again. I want people to know this incredible creature was mine, mine, mine.
She hides her face in my side and I notice the interest from around the room., the raised phones and the muttered conversations between glances at our table but I don't care if people know she's mine, because she is mine.
"But it puts you at risk, Jonathan will hurt you, I can't stand it, if he hurts you because of me" She worries gazing up at me.
"Baby, I don't care if he comes after me, I'm ready and I'm sure Simon is prepared for it, I'd rather he came at me than you, i will be careful though, please don't worry" I caress her soothingly hoping she would relax again.
Carter and James join us with a varied selection for us to share, including Amy who had been sat quietly watching us and the room.  Jared had remained by the door after grabbing two coffees and I knew he was waiting for Simon.
I spotted him arrive and watched as he and Jared talked briefly before they both came and joined us.
"Everyone had a good morning?" Simon asks smiling at us and I raise my eyes questioningly as he laughs softly at me. "Okay, okay, updates... Amy you first" he instructs and Amy informs him of the question about me being with Aggie. Carter and James add their update and we all look at Simon for his.
"I've put a tracker on Jonathan, tech is tracking him now and John is watching him, the trackers only in his jacket pocket but I engaged with him whilst he was watching the art hall entrance, it's a short term measure as he may change clothes but we may get lucky.  Now the gossip round campus about you and Aggie, we should take it that Jonathan will hear about it before the end of today, he is focussed on monitoring the campus for Agatha and you two are big news, because of that Jared you will be shadowing Boston to all his classes, Amy you will remain with Aggie, Carter and James, be vigilant, Carter because he is trying to get you to meet with him and James because of your link with Boston." He explains and I hug Aggie tighter as she shakes slightly. "Aggie, I'll be alright baby, don't worry" I tell her gently, surprised when she pushes me back hard glaring up at me, fear warring with worry as she smacks my chest "he can't hurt you, you need to stay away from me, if he doesn't see us together, he won't, I don't want..." I cut her off with my lips on hers. "I'm not staying away from you, don't every say that again" I growl and shake her, making her look up at me in shock, tears filling her eyes "no crying" I bark at her before pulling her tightly into my arms "you're never leaving me baby, ever" I whisper and I feel her hug me back and I know she's mine again.
I turn and look at Simon "we need to trap him, this is too much stress for Aggie" the rest of the group look between us, waiting for Simons response.
"We are working on it" he tells me and I see the understanding in his eyes. He needs to deal with it soon or I will. "But I'll make it a priority, check you phones for an update before you leave your afternoon classes, Boston, Jared stays with you, I know you three are all in the sports building next, make sure you keep in touch with each other.  Amy don't leave the art building till I confirm we are ready" he instructs before grabbing his coffee and leaving us. I look at the clock and lunch is almost over.  Glancing at Jared i sigh, knowing he would stop me going after Jonathan directly as well as being there to protect me.  Aggie squeezes my hand and I focus on her "please stay safe" she begs softly.
"I promise baby, and you too, stay with Amy and do as Simon says" I reply leaning my forehead against hers as the others start packing up around us.
