Cayden lunged his sword only for Nathaniel to block it with his own in a swift movement some might call beautiful. Gritting his teeth Cayden continued his hits as Nate matched them with equal vigour.

The clinking sound of metal against metal could be heard from the stands as the other Octavus watched the boys train.

"Gosh they're great aren't they?" Adeline mused at the edge of her seat.

"Yea brilliant." Janak mumbled gloomily from the side.

" Green isn't a good look on you Fectum." Sirona smirked down at his jealous figure earning a glare back.

"I'd show you all if Lerin wasn't such a pussy."
He motioned to the boy who refused to fight against him.

"Hey!" Lerin snapped. " I'd go against either of them you just don't play fair."

"Whatever you say miss." Janak winked.

"Shut up would you." Zana snapped next to Evelyn who was too busy scribbling in her notebook to pay attention to the match.

All of them could see the two duelling boys look up for her reaction every so often when they make a great hit but she couldn't be more disinterested. Hair whipped across her face as she scrunched her face in concentration scribbling hastily as if the words would run away.

By the time they had finished she hadn't looked up since they started much to both of there disappointment.

"Evie, they're coming back over here can you at least pretend to be impressed." Zana whispered sharply snapping Evelyn out of her thoughts as the boys approached.

"That was great guys." Adeline clapped in admiration as the boys smiled back at her excited face.

"Thanks Ade." Cayden grinned before looking down at Evelyn but not saying anything as Nate sat next to her.

"Good one Cayden." Nate called rather loudly though Evelyn was sat next to him. "Don't you think Evie?"

"yea." She nodded.

"You weren't even watching were you?" Janak scoffed earning a slap from Zana.

"Shall we go inside class is about to start." Zana suggested changing the topic as they murmured a precession of yes'.

"Children?" A voice called from the entrance to the school. "Great timing." Angus Captio called.

"What's he doing here?" Janak whispered as the pudgy man stumbled over to them.

"I'm so glad I caught you all." He beamed. " And your fighting. It was wonderful. like a piece of art." He praised short of breath as Nate and Cayden smiled awkwardly.

"Sir is there something you wanted?" Zana asked awkwardly darting her eyes to and from the hyperventilating man.

"Yes." He wheezed before finally catching his breath and standing a little straighter. "I've come to discuss a few things."

"Discuss what?" Lerin called out.

"Lerin is it. The Temperate? " He nodded at the mans question. "Ahh I've always appreciated music despite what people say I think it's just as important as the other Octavus." He grinned as Lerin frowned not sure if it was a compliment or not.

"What did you want to discuss." Janak interrupted quite rudely. "Sir." He added quickly.

"Well. As you all know i'm here for a very important reason." He began switching personas to a much more serious one. " And I wanted to discuss the arrangements.
