Thought I found love

Chapter 3. The Party

Saturday night, and Katherine comes over to pick me up and ready to go party. She asks me if I'm having second thoughts and of course I say no. Today is just one of those days where I'm over thinking un important things that do not matter.

Some people might think that I'm a dis grace to my family but honestly I don't care..
I do have to sneak out of my house to go with Katherine to parties but it's definitely worth it.

Jane texted me a few moments before Katherine came to pick me up to leave to the party. I check my phone "jenn please don't go to that party explain later" of course I didn't take what she said personally.

Ever since we were young she was always very boring and hated everything I did. Then came along Katherine whom I love dearly. You know that feeling when you have two friends who are so different but both are friends of yours and you can't do nothing about it?

Around middle school Jane became the schools joke because she was so serious and took life way to seriously. When ironically I was the complete opposite from her and still am.

The truth is I feel like something is wrong with her I mean we are both still young. She is a good person, she is a Christian but still why can't she enjoy her own life.

A few minutes later; the party kath and I went to was absolutely great. There were so many cute guys and one in particular asked for my number so we can later meet up.

Katherine got all crazy and although we are not eighteen quite yet she still drank. I'm not gonna lie, I also did drink simply because she kept asking me too and well I wanted to enjoy the moment without any adults.

Deep down I do wish Jane would be more like both Katherine and I. Sometimes feeling bad for her is all I can do, her life seems so sad and boring like if it has no meaning..

The party was the best thing to happen yet. I say yet because there will be plenty more parties to come and maybe this time jane will join along.
