Chapter 6. The date

As I said, last night genairo texted me and he said if I wanted to "hangout" friday night. It's currently Monday and I have to wait so long sadly.

Katherine needs to know..  a few hours later I had texted Katherine to tell her all the good news!
Although I was extremely nervous for Friday to finally arrive, I was also very excited because he might actually be the one you know? I'm almost eighteen which means I'll be an adult and no more rules from my parents at least.

The thing is genairo does not go to my school which is the only thing that I'm not crazy about. I have not yet asked him which school he goes to because I don't want to seem creepy at all! Imagine someone whom you barely met and is already asking all sorts of questions.

My parents will not find out about this "hangout" I don't know how they'll react but I rather not risk it at all. I just hope he doesn't ask about them, if he does I'll be nervous and probably lie. I'm a pretty good liar but most likely not with him.

I asked Katherine to come over Friday morning and stay for a couple hours simply because I need her to help in choosing an outfit and just what to talk about with him. She is pretty great with guys so I call her my personal expert/ helper.

Although I am still thinking what Jane wanted when she told me not to go on this date. Seems to me like she's just jealous it's not like she knows him or anything. Genairo is way too popular and handsome to know someone like jane.

I'll do my best in keeping her as far away as possible from Katherine, genairo and myself. At school I don't hang out with much people You never know who is fake and who isn't.

It's almost night time and I can't stop thinking about him. He's all I think about now and I don't blame him or myself. Around Jane, kath and I refer to genairo as "HIM" but yet I'm sure she knows who we're talking about.

BUT WAIT! Now that I think about it !!
How did JANE find out that I was going to hangout with genairo?? I never thought of this.. how could I forget this part oh my goodness. Someone must've told her. Whoever it was I will kill them. Surely one of those fake "popular" girls at school.

Katherine is popular at school and a lot of girls want to hangout with her but she chose me so sucks to be them. As soon as I find out who told Jane I will ....
