My Silly Mistake

Part Twenty-three

***third POV***

Joan's eyes widened as she took in her surrounding. She was in a big room on a king sized bed. She stood running towards the door immediately when hissing in pain at the excruciating pain that hit her.

"Damn it!" She  paused and rubbed her temples. She couldn't remember what happened later after she tried to run away. Hell! She had to meet her mother today! That was what her abductor told her. Sh frowned and marched towards the door again. She kicked it when it failed to open up. She was locked inside. She started to bang on the door repeatedly. How could she let this happen.

"Somebody open this damn door!!" She yelled on top of her lungs, hoping that someone will hear her. She heard a click sound and backed away from it, the door knob turned slowly, she waited patiently for whoever it was to show himself.

She gasped when she saw who stood in front of her. Her eyes widening in shock, it was the guy who had saved her from her abductor. This time he wasn't alone though, behind him stood a handsome blonde man smirking as his baby blue eyes landed on her. She took a step back. Why did thy bring her here? What do they want from her?

"You?" She raised a finger at her savior and frowned. She scoffed. "Look, I appreciate you helping me, but do you care to explain WHAT THE HELL I'M DOING HERE?!" she said raising her voice at some point.

He laughed. "You're quite strong. Your sister would have been a crying mess by now" he snickered making the blonde guy laugh.

At the mention of the word sister her eyes snapped wide. They know where Emma is? If they do then this just means one thing....they are the ones who want her mother dead. She glared at them. "Where is she?"

The Blondie stepped in front of her. "Don't worry, she's safe with us"

Joan laughed humorlessly. "Safe with you? Aren't you the ones who wants us dead?!" She yelled earning surprised looks from them. Of course, they'll act all innocent about this. 
Austin shot Zander a look of shock, do Mason really tell her that. Zander looked calm, as if he saw this coming. He cleared his throat.

"Who told you that?" He inquired inching closer to the teenage girl.

She kept mute and glared at him. Zander was slowly starting to lose his patience, but he tried to keep his anger at bay. "Who. Told. You. That" he growled.

Joan hesitated before speaking. "My abductor" it sounded strange saying that, claiming ownership of the one who kidnapped her, she mentally chuckled.

" I knew it!" Austin said in an ' I guessed it right tone'. He snapped his fingers. "And you believed him?"

Joan snapped. "Yes, I did, but don't worry when I meet my sister, I'll tell her the truth and then we'll kill all of you!" She balled hr fists.

"What the hell is wrong with you! Someone who kidnaps you tells you this crap and you believe him?!"

"Yes, I was to meet my mom today! But thanks to you, it won't happen?!. Take my back you monsters!" She yelled going round him and heading for the door, but Zander grabs her by the shoulders and pushes her back. She tries to kick him but fails when Austin grabs her legs pushing her farther into the room.

"Let me go!. I'm ordering you!" She hit their backs multiple times to break free.

"Silly girl!" Zander muttered and pushed her roughly on the bed still holding her arms. With the anger boiling in him he spoke harshly, "Don't be stupid Joan! Whatever that tool told you is a lie! He just wants to use you for his own personal gains. Just trust us...and besides if we were evil like he said don't you think we would have killed you long ago?!" With that, he let her go and  stormed out of the room slamming the door behind him and muttering out some curses.
