We walked into the ring.

Blake: Well, let's get to training. Try to tag me.

She runs to the middle of the arena. And pulls out a book. I run toward her, thrusting my palm out. It passes right through her. She dissolves and reappears.

Me: Oh. So that counts.

Blake chuckles, still looking at her book.

Blake: Never said it didn't.

I rush at her again. She reappears behind me. I turn with my hand out. She vanishes again, appearing to my right. I dash at her, then try to predict the direction she'll go. I'm close, but miss her narrowly. I send a Demon Fist at her. That only put more distance between us. Blake gives me a taunting giggle. I run at her again, dashing back immediately once she disappears. I fall flat on my butt. I get back up.

I take a moment and close my eyes. I focus on Blake. The tiny movements and sound she makes. The energy flowing through the air. I sensed a faint trail. I also sensed that Blake had to wait a bit before using her clones again. About a one-second window.

I ran at her again. I went for a jab. She disappeared again, but this time I used Snap Pivot, ending up behind her. I placed my hand flat on her back. It didn't go through her.

Me: I win.

Blake closes her book and turns to face me.

Blake: Good job.

She takes her sword off her back.

Blake: Now, I want to train you in sword catching. Try to stop it with a clap.

She swings her blade overhead.

I try to clap it, but end up late. Blake hadn't used the sharp edge but it still hurt.

I rub my head.

Blake: Again!

I try to clap again. I felt the blade on the heels of my hand, but I didn't stop it.

We kept at it. I got hit. A lot. We kept at it for a good 20 minutes.

Blake: We can take a break if you need to.

Me: One more.

Blake sighs and raises her blade.

I take a deep breath and focus.

Blake swings her blade.

CLAP!

Blake's Gambol Shroud now rests between my palms.

Blake smirks.

Blake: Well. I guess we should take a break.

Me: Yeah. I might have some head trauma.

Blake: Yeah. Sorry about that.

I focused on myself and used Healer. My head pain cleared right up.

Blake flexed her fingers.

Blake: Does that affect those around you?

Me: I think so.

Blake stretches.

Blake: Well, let's move on to mobility. Try around the arena on the walls.

Me: That doesn't seem physically possible.

Blake: I saw you jumping up between two pillars. You can do this.

Me: Also sure I shouldn't be able to do that either, but . . .
