When I woke up, I saw an odd exchange.

Everyone else was awake and currently watching a very sleep deprived and/or crazy man walk away.

With the relic of knowledge in his hands.

Great.

Me: What's going on?

Ruby: We handed the relic over. We just need to be processed and we'll be out.

Jaune: Thank Oum! I couldn't take another night in prison!

Yang: We're in jail.

Jaune: Same thing.

Before Yang could make a witty retort, like a boot to the head, our cell was opened and we were lead out to the front desk, where we regained our equipment.

Me: Man, the gauntlets bring the outfit together!

???: I know, right?

I turned to see Team CFVY seated in the waiting area. Yatsu looked a bit out of place in the rather tiny chairs.

Most of the group spent time socializing and catching up. Fox remained silent.

Coco: So what're you gonna do now?

Ruby: We'll probably just wait for some new clue. Where have you guys been staying?

Coco: In a luxury suite. C'mon, we'll show ya.

Coco led us to a very tall hotel, then to the luxury room at the top. It was astounding, with immaculate design and furniture, a staircase leading up to two large bedrooms. Leading off from the entrance/living room was a balcony that had stairs to the roof and a fully stocked kitchen.

Coco: Alright, who wants to play Truth or Dare?!

She strikes a pose.

Jaune: I'd rather no-

Yang: Yeah!

Weiss: Sounds fun!

Nora: GET READY!

Jaune tried to make a break for it. He failed. He, Ren, Oscar and I prepared for the hell we were about to endure. We all sat in a circle, our faces stern and unreadable.

Coco: I'll start us off! Hmmmm . . . Jaune, truth or dare?

This was a pivotal moment. Many say that the opening move is the most revealing, and this was no exception. Everything from which option he picked to how long he thought about it to what tone he answered in, only provided more weaknesses in his armor, and lead to his demise.

This wasn't a game, no no no. This was a battlefield.

Jaune strode forward with pride.

Jaune: Dare.

This established him as many things. It told the rest of us that he had something to hide, or maybe he was confident in his abilities. Or maybe he had trust in the rest of us.

Coco answered without a second thought. We all learned that she planned for dares, decreasing the likelihood of picking dare. Of course, that could just be mental conditioning.

Wait, I'm overthinking this WAY too much. Maybe it's a byproduct of opening the Ozpin door.

Coco: Snip off a lock of Yang's hair!

Yup. She's either ruthless or conditioning people to pick truth.

Me: I'll heal you, Jaune. Just do it.

Yang stared him down. Jaune slowly reached for his sword, glancing back at me. I got his message.

With a single swift motion, I produced a flash of flames in front of Yang's face, distracting her, and Jaune hacked off a lock of hair in one clean slice.
