**Chapter 11**

Owen's POV

She could tell I didn't want to talk about it. At least not yet. I'm surprised she even confided in me tonight. I didn't think she would anytime soon, especially to me. I would've thought it would be the girls.

She has so many different sides to her, some I have yet to discover. I wanna know more about her.

Why does this girl intrigue me so much?

"So you kind of like her?" I ask him.

He stares at me and doesn't say a thing, pretty much answering my question. He likes her! Sebastian like Dakota.

"Sebastian and Dakota sitting in the tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G, first comes the lo-"

"Can you fucking stop?!" Sebastian cuts me off.

I never though my best friend would be crushing on someone since his last relationship but then again I kind of figured he would develop feelings for her. They've been around each other for weeks, already a month.

The girls and the rest of the guys are downstairs making breakfast while Sebastian and I are in my office.

"We spent all night in the study talking about our interests and life. She loves playing video games and loves doing anything thats hands-on. Her favorite color is Teal and she loves animals." He went on and on. Wow, he really does like her.

"Sebastian?" I look at him with a horrified expression.

"What? What happened?" He sits up, alerted.

"You're going soft all over again." He looks at me with a straight face and scoffs. "But seriously, relax and slow down a bit. You don't want to go through last time." His expression turns sour thinking about the past.

If I'm being honest, that was the most heart broken I had ever seen Seb. He rushed into things too fast and got attached only to have his heart broken. I'm sure he didn't tell Dakota that.

Her name was Alondra. She was nice at first and they were always cuddled up together. They looked like they were happy, I know Sebastian was at least. She lead him on for months only for her to tell him that she'd been cheating on him and didn't want to be with him no more.

That's when Sebastian's soft side disappeared a bit and he hadn't dated anyone since.

Just as he's about to respond, my phone starts ringing. I check the caller and it reads 'John🖕🏽'
What the hell does he want. I pick up the call and put the phone to my ears.

"Yes?" I ask.

"Cut the attitude, do you know who you're talking to? Anyway, I need you and the guys to get someone for me. It's another one of Kai's men. He was caught patrolling around the warehouse. How he found it? I don't know. But one of the guards shot him and has him pinned, waiting for you guys. I need you all to go just in case..." I start to zone him out because his voice is getting annoying.

"Ok." I say and hang up. "We have to handle something lets go." Sebastian nods and we head downstairs to everyone else.

Udria's POV

"I heard you and Owen talking and cooking last night. How did that go?" My'Lia asks and everyone turns their heads toward me, intrigued by what I'm about to say.

"It really was nothing. He did pretty good except he adding too much salt to the food so make sure you drink lots of water after eating it." They shake their heads.
