It was mid-morning when the Vin made it to the more rural parts of Lamdon, he had been riding in his carriage all day with hardly any rest between towns, his only solace being the short stop through a small marketplace near Wespin, the "Lamdon Market."

He stood up as they entered another small gate and began to wave and smile. He heard his stomach growl as the appetizing smell of buns wafted past. He grumbled.

"Stop." He said to the coach, he gave in, they would buy a bun, nay, grace this haberdashery with his presence then be off again quickly.

"Sir," the coach and attendant began, "I do not think that is wise, we have secured a shop only a few towns over."

"Do not tell me what is wise!" He said, trying not to cause a commotion.

"We have been traveling 8 hours with not even a glass of water!" "I am safe here, run to that shop and buy a bun and cider. Next time I expect a stocked carriage!"

The Vin waited uncomfortably while the man retrieved the food, he worried a bit as not all of the townsfolk were smiling. They continued shortly down the road, past a few towns, skipping the meal at the Lamdon market. As they past by he saw a flash of striking red hair, he was a bit unsettled, but ignored it. Suddenly a blinding pain entered his head. An arrow, a Midian arrow.

They began the emergency procedure, rushing the Vin back to the castle and away from Lamdon Market. A few guards stayed back to find the perpetrator, it was a Midian arrow so they knew what to look for, they began searching through every tree and went deeper and deeper into the underbrush.

Lisa was on the precipice of hyperventilating as she looked down, under her small table crouched the Midian. It-well she was panting slightly and muttering a bit under her breath.

"He was supposed to be eating at The Forest Lounge! Now I had to improvise and they are already on my tail."

She looked up suddenly and Lisa began to back away very slowly, she had the most terrified look in her eyes.

"Good morning," the Mid said sarcastically.

"You..you just shot..the Vin!" Her eyes grew bigger as she came to this realization.

Then she began to be the one muttering, "I saw you! I have to do something! You..you may have killed him! He.. is going to kill me too. I--you chose to hide in my shop, I am an accessory to the crime." She was on the verge of tears, the only thing holding them back was the imminent threat of the Midian with the arrows 5 feet away from her.

"Now wait a second," the Midian began, "Nobody is turning anybody in." "Unless you want to spend the rest of your life in jail. Which I don't think you do, I mean how old are you? 15?" The Midian look closer at her, slowly coming out from under the table, but not making herself visible to the pandamonium in the square just yet. She narrowed her eyes, turning quite serious.

"If you try to turn me in, you won't make it to jail. Fire up your survival instincts, you're coming with me." In a flash she had Lisa's arm and they were headed into the woods. Far from the guards, East.
