"hey look..." someone whispered.

"yeah I know, I have eyes" her friend retorted as she quickly gave (f/n) a quick glance. Disgust is evident on their faces as if they wish to not breathe the same air as her.

'you know I can hear and see everything that happens in this room right.' (f/n) mentally scoffs. 'and just because you have eyes doesn't mean you can see, you people are all blind.'

The class was soon quiet as soon as their 'leader', Gakushu enters the classroom with 4 tough looking guys.

"these 4-foreign students are visiting our school for a short-term, abroad program." He continued to introduce their backgrounds.

That name is way too long. 'Exchange students' would've sufficed.

"Kamille is the next generation ace from a famous wrestling gym in France."

"sang-Hyeok is a rising basketball star in Korea."

"Jose is the son of a renowned Brazilian Martial Artist."

"and Kevin is a member of the national American Junior Football Team."

'No way they are the same age as us, just look at them they're ginormous.' No one dared say this out loud though.

(f/n) made a quick scan at them before silently scoffs and went back to staring out the window. On the reflection of the window, she caught a glimpse of what looks like one of Itona's creation: an audio transmitting toy war tank.

So Asano called in reinforcements, while Isogai sent a spy. Not a bad first move you two...

"Our ultimate goal during this exhibition game isn't to just merely pull the pole down. It is to teach Class E a lesson, most of the student in the class are delinquents." Asano explains.
"I won't say who, but there is one among them who has been violating the school rules."

"Are you sure it's not the one breathing the same air as us, sitting near a window staring at who-knows-what." someone said causing many stifled laughs.

(f/n) glanced back to the front of the room and rolled her eyes for all to see. "Real creative with the insults. Amateurs."

"ahem, anyway. I want Class E to regret that student's behavior before we defeat them in the pole-toppling."
"Of course, we'll fight fair and square without breaking any rules. you know you were humiliated by them during the final exam, I can't blame you for wanting to get revenge before the next midterm.

'Well that's a sweet way to put it...' (f/n) thought to herself. 'basically, he's telling the class to beat the crap out of E-class, to the point they can't stand back up.'

"Hmm, this really reminds me of my youth." Her mother commented on (f/n)'s thoughts.

'mom' (f/n) mentally pouts. 'this is my monologue'

*****Lunch*****

(F/n) scribbled a few on a sticky note and slingshot it right into Gakushu's face. She covered her mouth trying really hard not to laugh.

He didn't even need to hear her stifled laughter to know who the culprit is. "(f/n)" he growled. But she has escaped from the classroom by who-knows-how.

He sighs and read her message.
'Afterschool, talk'

******After school******

"What do you want," Gakushu asked standing at the door frame of their now empty classroom.

"I never thought someone of your status would follow the orders of a lowly commoner." She hummed in a teasing manner, closing the light novel she was reading moments before his arrival. "I thought you hate all us 'rule-breakers'.

"not the answer I'm looking for" He crossed his arms. "you said you wanted to talk." he threw the note back at her.

(f/n) glanced at the paper for a while before chucking it into the nearest trashcan, then gestures him to follow her. He sighed and reluctantly followed.

"those friends of yours are quite interesting... you have quite the backing." She said while lazily reopening the novel and continues where she left off.

"what are you going to do, tell those E-class friends of yours?" He questions.

"Why should I? If they can't win against you without my help then they'll never be able to achieve their...other goals." (f/n) shrugs.

"That goal is to defeat A-class... isn't it"

"Hmm, think bigger." (F/n) smirks, "besides I'm on neither sides"

Well, I'm not lying. Saving the world is no small matter. Not that I care what happens to this planet.

They kept walking, her eyes never taken off from her book until she abruptly stops in front of the exam ranking board.

Top 50 student.
1) Asano Gakushu
2) Teppei Araki
3) Ren Sakakibara
.....

"Don't you feel pathetic, looking at this board." (f/n) asked him. "knowing that this ranking is..... inaccurate."

He scoffs, "is that all you want to talk about? then I shall be going."

"Gakushu..." He halts his steps.

"Are you willing to follow in your parent's footsteps." she quietly asked.

Without answering he continues on his way, leaving her alone to stare at the ranking board.

********Principal's Office*******

"Hey, principal, this year's sports festival is starting to get really interesting especially that game." (F/n) to no one's surprise walked into his office unannounced, destroying his door, of course.

He didn't even bother to look up from his paperwork. "(F/n) if it's not important, get out."

"Of course it's important." (F/n) then laughed musingly. "I can't believe you actually agreed to those conditions for the exhibition games."

"Will you be a part of it?" He raised a brow.

"Then the games will become..." She smirked darkly. "...more like a slaughterhouse."

"Want to make a bet, principal?" Her tone grew slightly more serious.

"Depends."

"I'll be transferred to whichever class wins the sports festival's exhibition games." (F/n) declares. "Without my interference of course."

"And why would I make such a bet of no benefits to me."

"It's just a game. Besides its not like anyone would care even if I do have the highest ranking among the students." She sighs. "Besides its harder for me as an assassin when I can't get closer to my target."

"Do whatever you want." he agrees to the terms of the bet.

Editor: It's been very quiet these days... too quiet.

Director: Isn't that a good thing?

Editor: fair point. But still... I feel like someone is missing.

Director shrugs.
