Two weeks had passed and once again, Chase was a lifesaver. He had one of his friends work on Fiona's case, managed to get rid of Monica and stayed with Liam so Lip could actually look after himself. Fiona was on probation and Liam was healthy but Lip still refused to trust her, he saw her as a danger to their brother so the little boy basically lived with Chase. Chanel got back together with Matt much to Debbie's dismay, things had semi sorted themselves out between them and Debbie's new obsession was Lennon who was hanging around for Charlie.

Ian adopted Lennon as his little brother since he'd never had that role with someone so close in age before and it was something Charlie had never been so happy to see. She was watching some shitty pre-recorded sitcom on the couch when Lennon awkwardly sat down next to her. "Can I talk to you ?" he asked, shifting in his seat so she turned off to television and turned to look at him. "Lindsay" he began as she rolled her eyes and sighed. "Go on" she said unamused as he nodded and rehearsed how to say it in his head. "You're not going to Polytechnic, when you refused to go to that rehab after the overdose" he began as Ian appeared from the kitchen. "Overdose ?" he shouted but Charlie brushed him off and waited for her brother to keep talking. "She got a refund on the fees" he said blankly as she laughed. "No, after..that, she threatened it" she began as he nodded. "Got half back then, half back after you and my dad got into it" he said honestly as she sighed. "Amazing, just a couple of weeks before first semester starts" she shouted before standing up and going to her room wheee Lip sat on the floor playing with Liam.

"You alright ?" he asked while looking up at her as she nodded. "Bubs ?" he then asked with his head titled as she sighed. "My mom got a refund on my college fees, I'm not going" she said blankly as his jaw dropped. "So what are we doing about it" he said while lighting a cigarette as she raised her eyebrows. "We're not just gonna let her do this. So come on. Where to first ?" he asked while picking up Liam as she smiled and wiped her eyes. "My dads" she said while nodding as he saluted her. "To Captain Cavanaughs" he said while walking out of the door straight passed Lennon and onto Chases street.

They were instantly met with Cadence who, for once, was on his way to work on time. Once he saw them he stopped to talk to them. "Here we go" Lip whispered to Liam as Charlie threw a cold hard glare at him. "You. Come on. Just got stocked up from Raoul" he said while pointing at her as she shook her head. "You have work" she said unamused as he nodded. "I can be late, wouldn't be the first time you distracted me from work" he said honestly as she sighed. "You're sales assistant at hot topic" she said like it was painful as the man stepped towards her and tried to hold her hand but Lip took it instead and brought her to her fathers.

He knocked on the door and then immediately shook his head at her. "Do me and you not have something ? Because it looked like you were going to go with him and whats this about an overdose ?" he asked but she shushed him. "I need to figure this out first" she said while shrugging as Chanel opened the door wearing nothing but a baby pink silk robe.

She was leaning against the doorway and refused to look up until she saw Lip. "Oh look who it is, bitchy and the brain, what can I do for you ?" she asked through a smirk as Charlie rolled her eyes. "Where's my dad ?" she asked unamused, they had a long day ahead of them. "Upstairs Matty and me kind of took over the house" she said through an even wider smile as Charlie sighed once again. "That's not the flex you think it is Chanel" she barked before shoving passed her cousin and running upstairs to her father. "Aunt Lindsay's coming, she knows you know" Chanel hollered after her so Charlie smirked. "Better get rid of Matt from Tinder then, Binx will probably be with her" she hollered back before going into Chase's room.

He was sitting on his bed watching television and eating takeaway pizza once they entered. "Private, Lipschwitz, Liam, I need a nickname for you too. Anyway, what brings you three here ?" he asked through a smile but could tell he was annoyed Chanel was taking over his house. Lip set Liam down before he and Charlie sat on the bed. "Your ex refunded half my tuition after I refused to go to rehab and the other half after Brett best me up" she instantly said as his eyes widened. "What" he practically shouted as she nodded. "She's coming to Chicago, on a plane now actually" she said while rolling her eyes as Lip nodded. "Get up to polytechnic. I'll hold the fort here" he said as she shook her head. "No. Shouldn't I wait til she gets here" she said as the man she called her father shook his head. "Your dream school is on the line Char, leave Liam here, I've got him" he said trying to help as Lip cautiously left him with him. This was huge because he'd be gone for so long.
