The Camp Sickness

Chapter 7: New Leader

An assembly was held in camp. With the passing of Ethan, Teresa, and Shelby plus Logan still out there, the group needed a plan. Who would step up? The obvious choice was Euan, but with the loss of his best friend Ethan, they didn't know how focused he would be.

"Since Reed is the oldest, I think he should be the leader." Harry said. "Why not Aaron or Adin, someone who is a proven leader." Hailee said. "You don't even know what your talking about, Hailee!" Harry got pissed off and stormed out of the room. "Reed, make sure Harry doesn't pull a Zach and tries to kill everyone, ok?" "I'm on it."

So Hailee, Owen, Murphy, and Aaron were left in the room. All of them didn't know who was going to be the leader. They needed to find one soon.

Reed didn't know where Harry went. There was no foot prints, no marks, just nothing. It was like Harry was a ghost. He found the door open in the old cabin 5. He wondered why Harry would be in there, so he decided to check it out.

It was a gory sight. Blood was everywhere. Over the beds, over the floors, and on the walls. Harry's body was laying in the middle of the floor. "How could someone be killed like this?" Reed wondered. He turned to walk out and standing right in his way was Logan.

When Reed didn't return after an hour, Owen got a little worried. To the group, he said "If we have another Zach, we need to stop it now. The only way to stop it is if we kill him." "What if it isn't another Zach?" Murphy asked. "Let's find out."

Owen, Murphy, and Aaron walked down to cabin 5 and stumbled upon the gory sight. "Did Reed do this?" Aaron asked. "I don't think Reed could do this." At the far end of the cabin, there was a message. "Guys, check this out." Murphy said. The message read:

War is coming! If you make a move on us, Reed dies. Don't be your normal stupid selves. Logan
