Camp Tall Timbers is abandoned. The dead bodies from the war with a Sandy Cove had destroyed the place, unable for the Sandy Cove survivors to stay at. Tre's body was lying limp on the field, as was Hailee's. Nielson layed on his back, bullet in his head, Simon in front of him. However someone stood up. Someone, with a bullet in them, got up and walked towards the water fountain, which worked. This someone was able to get water, though the pain lasted a while. He muttered a line that gave him inspiration to live. "I will find you, and kill you." He was Logan.
