Chapter 18

Baby Daisuke Todoroki-Bakugo really lifted the spirts for the group. Before Daisuke, everyone was still brooding over Junichiro and Drake's death. But now, all everyone could talk about was the new baby in the giant family.

Izuku and Hitoshi were the only ones who still weren't over the death of Drake since they're the only ones who knew him. Izuku was taking it worst of all of them. It might've partially been the pregnancy hormones that made him that way.

Shoto still wouldn't let Katsuki go out and fight, which, unlike Katsuki five months prior, he was fine with it. He wanted to spend more time with his baby boy, or his 'prince' as he was calling him. Of course, the news got ahold of the information that 'Heroes Shoto and Kacchan had a baby'. Whenever Shoto went out, just as himself, he would always be asked for a picture of the baby, since they hadn't yet heard of his name.

Mai and especially Ren were really interested in their new cousin. Ren, being a five year old, always kept asking his Uncle Kacchan when he would get to play with Daisuke. Katsuki always responded with, "He's just a little baby right now. He can't play yet,". Though Ren didn't like the answer, he didn't ask again. Until the next day. When Mai was around Daisuke, she would just sit and watch him. She found him interesting because of his heterochromia, not that she knew what that meant.

As the weeks passed, Ren got even more impatient, wanting to play with his cousin. The most he could do was sit and hold the baby. No playing. Just watching him sleep because "he's just a baby". When Daisuke was awake, he would be watching Ren make small icicles with his quirk. That was another thing, Ren had fully developed his quirk. He had an ice quirk, like his grandmother. The thing was, because of Daiki's Cremation quirk, Ren could turn his ice into fire in an instant. Though, his family never let him do that because of an accident that happened when he was just learning about his quirk.

Mai still had to wait another year before she could fully develop her quirk, but she wasn't really complaining about it. She was still a three year old, meaning she still loved to be held by her Uncles Shoto and Hito.

Hitoshi did end up moving back to Japan. Izuku and Daiki let him stay at their house until he found a house of his own.

It was all perfect.

Izuku rolled his eyes reading the 'trending' articles while scrolling through the news. He had a baby a month ago. Get over it.

Izuku did end up naming their kid after Drake. He decided to go with Draco since he wanted something different. And Draco just clicked when they first saw him. Plus it meant dragon, and how cool is that?

"Pa? Can I play with Draco, now?" Ren asked. He just wanted someone to play with.

"No, Ren. He's just a baby. He's to little to play right now. You can play with him when he's older. Okay?"

"Okay." Ren nodded, not really content with the answer but there wasn't anything he could do.

"Ren, c'mere." Daiki called.

Ren ran over to his dad. "Right now, Draco is just a baby, just like you were a couple years ago. He can't play right now but you'll be able to play once he's older." Daiki explained.

"How older?" Ren questioned.

"A couple years."

"But I'll be a big boy by then!"

"Yeah, but that means you get to be the role model. You can teach Dray everything he needs to know. Well, maybe not everything, but, you'll be able to teach him a lot. Okay?"

"Fine."

"Great. Now go find your sister. She's probably with Hito in Uncle Hito's room."

"Okay!" Ren ran off, leaving the couple and Draco in silence.

"Thanks, Daiki."

"You don't have to thank me, Izu. He's my son too, y'know."

"Yeah, I know." It was quiet for a bit after that before Izuku spoke up again. "Will the go to UA? Our kids?"

"I mean, that depends on them. If they all want to go, then they'll all go. If only one wants to go, we'll send them and the other two will go to a different school. It's up to them."

Izuku nodded. "I got an email from Aizawa."

"What could he want?"

"He said that there's a job opening. Second year hero course. He said they can wait however long and that the job is mine if I want it."

"Do you? Want the job?" Dabi asked, walking over to sit next to him.

"I mean, it would be great. I love doing this hero thing, but I think I would like to teach for a bit."

"When?"

"When Ren is at UA, if he wants to go."

Dabi chuckled. "You wanna be the kind of parent that embarrasses his kids, don't you?"

"Yeah." Izuku smiled. "I just don't wanna be like my father."

"Sweetie, without even trying, you're nothing like him. You have three amazing kids, who you love. That's already so much more than what he has or had."

"I guess you're right."

"I'm always right." Dabi smiled.

"Daddy! I found Mai!" Ren yelled as he came running back. Mai was holding his hand and also Hito's hand.

"Ren? Would you want to go to UA? It's the school Izu and Hitoshi went to. You don't have to make up your mind now. You have around ten years to think about it."

"I wanna go!" Ren shouted.

"Okay, buddy. You don't have you shout it, though. You still have ten years before you can actually go."

"That's fine!" Ren smiled.

"Mai, would you wanna go?" This time it was Izuku who asked.

She just shrugged, not really caring.

"Alright. Well you have like 12 years to think."

She nodded then dragged both Ren and Hitoshi back to Hito's room.

"Bye, Papa! Bye, Daddy!" Ren said before he was dragged off.
