The Perfect Wedding

Kakashi's POV

Today is the day. The day I marry Sakura. I've had butterflies in my stomach since I woke up. Sakura was up before me again. I can tell she 's excited too, She hasn't stopped smiling. Our wedding is in about two hours. I hear a knock on the door. Sakura is in the shower so I get up to answer it. 

"Hey. Is Sakura here?" Ino asks as she lets herself in. I shut the door and follow her to the living room.

"Yea, she's in the shower." 

"Ok. Well I came to let you know we are starting to set everything up. I need the bridesmaid dresses too. Can I go get them?" She looks excited as well. I nod my head and she walks into our bedroom and grabs three dresses wrapped in plastic. The dresses were a blush colored. Sakura said they were 'New York Infinity dresses' but I'm not sure I know what that means. They had one shoulder and fabric around the waist with a small bow in the back. 

"Ok. Thank you Ino. Sakura will be at your place soon." 

"Ok. Temari and Tenten will be there to help her with her dress and makeup." I smile and she gives me a hug. She walks out the door and I hear the shower turn off. Sakura comes out with a towel around her and another one tied up on top of her head.

"Who was that?" She says dropping her towel to get dressed. 

"Ino. She's starting to get everything set up." She smiles as she puts on her shorts and tank top.

"Perfect." She starts drying her hair. I guess I should head over to her house then." She smiles even wider as she gets her shoes on. I give her a hug and she kisses me. "I'll see you in a few hours." She start to walk out the door but I grab her arm and pull her in for another kiss. 

"See you in a couple hours." I repeat with a smile. I got a little choked up thinking about the next time I see her she will be in a wedding dress walking down the isle to me. She walks out the door and I stand there not really sure what to do. I walk to the bedroom and sit on the bed when I hear another knock on the door. I open the door to Naruto, Tenzo and Sai. They're all smiling and have their suits all in plastic bags just like mine. 

"We're here. Ino said we should get here early. So. here we are." Naruto smiles.

"We should probably get dressed. We only have an hour until the wedding. And you're always late." Sai says with a smile. 

"Yea. You're probably right." I laugh and walk into the bathroom and get into my suit and tie. I walk out and Naruto goes in to get dressed next. 

"Kakashi, I don't know how to tie this." He looks down at his tie. I laugh again and help him as Tenzo goes into the bathroom next. He comes out in his suit as Sai goes and gets I his.

"I guess we should get going." Naruto says as he grabs my arm and pulls me out the door.

We get to the venue and there are already so many people sitting in chairs talking, smiling and laughing. All our friends and family. Gaara, Sasuke, Shino, Iruka, Guy and Lee were standing in a circle talking and smiling. I turn to tell Yamato, Naruto and Sai that we should go say hi but they were gone. I hear the music start and everyone rushes to sit down. I walk in front of everyone as I see Sai walking down with Ino holding his arm. They split and Sai stands next to me and Ino stands to the other side. Temari and Yamato come out next. Then Naruto and Tenten. After them I see Sakura.

She has on a white dress with a lace top that goes over her shoulders and lace details at the bottom near her feet. Her hair is curled and up in a pony tail with some sticking out that frame her face with tiny white flowers in it. Her bouquet is a mix of light pink and white roses. She looks gorgeous. Beyond gorgeous. She walks towards me. Seems like she's been walking towards me forever. I'm nervous and I'm all ready getting choked up. I can tell she is too. She finally gets to me and hands her flowers to Ino before she takes my hands. 

There is someone talking to us but I can't hear them. I'm so caught up in how beautiful Sakura looks.

"Sakura. You may now recite your vows." I smile as she takes out a piece of paper.

"Kakashi. You have surprised me, motivated me, and challenged me  in a way no human being ever has. I've fallen in love with you over and over again countless times without hesitation or a second thought. After all this time planning this wedding I still cant believe I get to marry my best friend and the love of my life. I promise to be honest, supporting, and uplifting to you. And to share with you the most beautiful moments of life. No matter what trials or fights we may have, I believe in what we are. And I promise with every beat of my heart I will love you always and forever."

Sakura has tears falling down her face and I don't wait for the man to tell me to recite my vows.

"Sakura. You are my dream come true, you are my world, the joy in my heart and the air I breath. Today I take you as my best friend, my partner and my one and only true love. I promise you my deepest love and my fullest devotion through not only the pleasures of the present but also the uncertainties of the future. I promise to forever be by your side, to always sleep in your arms and to be forever faithful to you. I promise to laugh with you in good times and comfort you in bad. I promise you will never face anything alone. And I promise to give you my hand to hold and my life to keep. Always and forever."

I choke up during my vows and my voice breaks. I feel a lump in my throat when Sai comes over with the rings. I take hers and put it on her finger. She takes mine, and puts it on her finger. 

"Kakashi. Do you take Sakura to be your wife?"

"I do." 

"Sakura. Do you take Kakashi to be your husband?"

"I do." She smiles and squeezes my hand.

"You may now kiss the bride." I smile and pull her into me and kiss her with all the love and passion I had for her. The vow I said isn't even a fraction of what I feel for her.

I hear everyone in the audience scream. I look out into the crowd and everyone is running away. I'm confused and look over to Sakura who has turned as white as paper. She looks down and her knees give in. I hold her up and look down at her. There is a sword, that goes through her back into her stomach. She coughs and starts to choke on her blood. 

"You killed my brother. You know my pain now." Someone shouts from the trees.

"Kuzo." I whisper. I killed his brother. He's the one that was watching me. 

"Kakashi." I look back down at Sakura. I sit her down and pull the sword from her back. She cries in pain and I can't hold the tears back any longer. They fall on her cheek as I hold her. I press my forehead to hers.

"You're going to be fine, Sakura. Just don't go to sleep. Ino. Help her!" I yell. Naruto, Yamato, Sai and some people from the crowd went to chase Kuzo. Ino kneels down and starts to heal Sakura as she coughs up more blood.

"I love you Kakashi." She can barely speak. 

"Shh. It's ok. I love you too. Ino is going to make you better. You're going to be ok." I try to get a smile through my tears and look up at Ino. She's crying as well. She looks at me and shakes her head. I look at Sakura. She's starting to close her eyes.

"Sakura. No, you cant fall asleep. Please, stay awake. Ino! Hurry!" I yell and look up at Ino who puts her hands down. "Ino. What are you doing? Heal her!" I'm screaming at her but she shakes her head again. 

"Kakashi. There is nothing I can do." She starts sobbing.

"There is! Don't stop trying." I look down at Sakura again. Her dress in soaked in blood. I have to get this blood off. Sakura is going to be mad if her wedding dress is stained. I start to wipe the blood away." I start to wipe away the blood with my hands. "I need to get the blood off."

"Kakashi. Stop, she's not going to make it. I'm sorry."

"No. You're just not trying hard enough! Don't stop trying!" I scream at her and she starts crying harder. 

I cradle her in my arms for what I know is the last time. I pull her body close to mine. I hear her take her last breath.

"I love you. Sakura. I'll never forget you."
