Telling Everyone

Barry's POV

I woke up to Kaitlyn next to me. I moved myself out of bed very quietly and quickly. Then I went to the kitchen to make some blueberry pancakes. Her favorite, of course. I had made about 36 pancakes. Super metabolism. I was on the last pancake. When I felt arms wrap around me. I turned to see Kaitlyn. " Good morning beautiful" I said looking into her eyes. " Good morning." she said and gave me a peck on the lips. " What do think Iris mean't by your worst enemy?" she asked. " Don't know but something tells me we will find out very soon since we threw her in a cell." I told her. " Barry I've been meaning to tell you something I have been keeping from you and the rest of the team ever since I came out of the evil Killer Frost stuff." she told me. " What is it?" I asked worried from the expression on her face. " I've been hiding someone." she said looking ashamed. " Who?" I asked. "Violet, come here please." she asked someone. Then I heard foot steps up the stairs from the basement. i looked at the basement door and saw a 8 year old girl open the door. " Amunet found her and used her for profit, I was all she had working for Amunet , then one day Amunet decided that she was going to sell her, so I took her here and hid her, she has extraordinary powers." Kaitlyn said. " Powers?" I asked. " The reason Amunet wanted to sell her is cause she has the power to give powers." she said. "Wow" I said amazed. "Barry, I'm like a mother to her, her parents died when she was six." Kaitlyn said. That made me so sad I know what it's like to be eleven and lose your parents but six. That's when she broke down crying. I walked up to her. She backed up a little. " It's okay I'm not gonna hurt you," I said, " I lost my parents to I know how it feels." That's when she put her hand on my face and saw her past.

I looked around to see her old house it was huge. I walked around for a little bit. I found a room with her in it. It's was very big. I saw stuffed animals, dolls, a doll house, and a huge princess bed. Then I heard glass shatter. She woke up immediately. She got up and started walking down a hall way I followed. We walked down a huge stair case. And then I saw it her dad shot on the ground. " Please don't do this, don't do this." her mom screamed and the he shot. He looked around and couldn't what he was looking for. Then something fell into his ammo. It was purple. he turned and saw her and shot. I looked down at her on the floor glowing purple. Then I heard sirens and the robber ran away with nothing but three dead murder cases on him. That's were the memory stop and I was pulled back.

I was brought back to reality. I blinked a couple times and saw her in front of me. I was crying. I grabbed her and hugged her tight she was crying on my shoulder. " Don't worry Violet, I will protect you always, I promise." I said promising her.

" Barry there something else, Joe found out about you and me being a couple, I think we need to tell the rest of the team about us and Violet." She said. I nodded 'Yes'.

Time Skip (S.T.A.R. Labs)

General POV

" Julian, your back." Cisco said giving him a hug. " Yes and I think that Barry and Kaitlyn needed to tell me something." he said. " Yeah they should be here in a minute."

Kaitlyn's POV

We started to walk in with violet. I was worried that they'd be mad at me for keeping these two huge secrets from them. " Hey it's gonna be okay, their gonna love you, because your amazing." Barry told Violet while on one knee holding her face. I knew if I married Barry right now he would be a great dad.

I told Violet to wait at the corner until we asked her to come in. She stood there and waited.

" Hey guys." Barry said. He got everyone that ever worked with us, that is not evil, to come here.Everyone one from team arrow, team legends, and even team supergirl. I was excited but scared. " Hey BA." H.R. said. Joe saw my nervous face and so did Cisco they both knew that Barry and I were gonna tell the group that we were a couple but their was something else. Something they didn't know about. Then Julian finally asked, " What are we here for?" " Do you want to tell them?" I mumbled. " No you do it." Barry mumbled back.

That's when I blurted out," Were a couple." " Finally you two admit it." Cisco and Kara said in unison. " You knew." Cisco said confused to Kara. "You knew" everyone but Barry,Kara, Joe and me said to him. " I knew from the beginning." Cisco said.

" There's one thing none of you know though." I said ashamed. " What is it?" Cisco asked. " Violet sweetie please come here." I yelled out. Right then I could see everyone's surprised faces when and 8 year old girl walked into the room and ran to me. " She has extraordinary powers, she has the power to give people powers." I told them as they grew shocked faces. " So your telling me this girl could give an ordinary guy like me powers." Oliver asked. "Yes" I answered as Barry picked Violet up. " She is like Kaitlyn's kid and a part of the team and were gonna treat her that way, but that isn't the only problem." Barry said. " What do you mean?" I asked confused. " Until Violet gets stretching abilities like Ralph, she won't be able to fight against them, if she has to many powers in one body not knowing how to control it then she could pass, so we have to find some way to get her stretching abilities faster." Barry told them.

The shock grew on my face. Everyone could see I was about to burst into tears. I Started to vry and fall on my knees in front of everyone. That's when Barry sat Violet down and she walked ti me and said, " Don't worry mommy, I'll be okay." She leaned in for a hug and I held her tight in my arms. Thinking I'm the only thing Violet has left. I can't let this happen to her. I have to find some way to help her. I Can't, I can't just let this happen to her. She will not die on my watch I will find someway to cure her and I don't care if I die in the process.

That's when she let go. " Who isn't afraid, to step up here and let Violet show you something?" Barry asked. Oliver and Kara walked up first. She touched their faces at the same time. She showed them what she showed Barry and me.

They came out. I was surprised when Oliver hugged her. So was everyone else. " Were not gonna let anything happen to you." Oliver said. That's when Violet's eyes went purple for a second and she showed everyone her parents death and how she got her powers. The were all stunned.

Barry and me walked to the other room. That's when I burst into tears. " Barry I don't want her to die, she can't die this can't happen, she like my kid she can't die, she just can't, we have to find a way to help her, if we don't I'll blame this on me for the rest of my life she can't Barry she just can't." I cried out as Barry hugged my tight. " We won't let her die Kait, we will find a cure and protect her." Barry told me. " But what if we can't, what if she has to many right now." I asked still crying in his arms. " We can run some test and see if she does." He told me. " We don't know how this works, Barr." I told him. " We can find out, isn't that kinda what we do here, we find stuff out and save the day." Barry said trying to calm me down. " But what if we don't this time?" I asked. " We will." he said and held me.
