Hidden Between Walls

Kaitlyn's POV

We walked threw the hall with Barry and the girls showing me room after room until Barry pasted one of the lights in the hall and something glowed on the note the girls parents left for us. 

" Barry stop!" I say confused. " What, what is it?" he asked even more confused then me. " Back up three steps." I say as he backs up. I looked to see a blue message. " Is there something wrong with the note?" he asked. " Wait, you can't see this?" I ask shocked. " See what?" he ask more confused than ever. I reached and touched the message. " It's cold, but Frost kind of cold, the speedforce is protecting you from touching it, that's why you can't see it." I say understanding why he couldn't see it. " What's it say?" Barry asked curiously. " Follow the red dots to a secret door. P.S. Watch your step when you go in!" I read. Barry looked around using his speed. " I can't find it." he said upset. " It's a puzzle." I said trying to figure it out. " Wait Barry, your lighting when you run you trail behind lighting!Run Barry!" I said as he started to run. I looked around. The lighting trailing off of Barry created a heat source causing the red heat spots to come out. We followed them to a secret button in the longest hallway I've ever seen. I pressed the button and a secret door opened. We began to walk threw until we stopped to find jewels in cases. " Okay why do I feel like I'm in an old fashioned movie locked in a castle with jewels?" he asked joking around. " I thought movies were Cisco's thing?" I ask with a laugh causing him to laugh. I turn to see Violet's eyes glowing a bright shade of purple. Then I see Dawn's glowing bright yellow. I looked at one of the cases to see purple and yellow gems glowing in the case. " Mommy help?!" Violet yells freaking out. I run to the case and create an icicle and smash it open. I grab the gems but then the memory from when Violet's parents died runs over me. I realize the bullet that hit Violet and Dawn wasn't a bullet it was part of the gem. I turn the gem over to find two broken off pieces missing and they were in an exact shape of the piece that hit them. Barry runs behinds them and gives them the serum Alex gave us before they started to freak out...worse. They're eyes start to go back to normal as I gaze at Barry and he gazes back.

Time Skip......

" So let me get this straight you two found a secret door by using Kaitlyn's frost abilities and then using Barry's speed as a heat source and then when you get in to the secret room Violet's and Dawn's eyes started to glow and you found yellow and purple jewels?" Cisco asks. "Yes" I say. "Whoa that's a mouth full." he says and takes a huge breath. " Except when I picked up the two jewels I remember the memory Violet showed us and realize the bullets that hit them weren't bullets the were pieces of the gems and that why they have abilities and because of they're twin genetics, so that's how they're powers all fell into place and they're eyes glow when ever they're around the jewel that brought they're power, watch." I say and put the jewel close them. They're eyes began to glow and then I pulled them away. " But to much exposure to them will make them go into full on panic." I say. " Also what do you think they mean't by watch your step when you go in?" Barry asked us. " I don't know, maybe a trap or something." I say thinking of what other things it could be. " Well the new house party is tonight so we need to start decorating is everything covered here. " Yeah, but the legends had an emergency they had to deal with so they won't be here for a while." Oliver told us. " Okay we'll see all of you tonight." I say as we walk out.

Time Skip......

Barry's POV

We walk in and start heading towards the kitchen. I start grabbing streamers as Kaitlyn starts on the balloons. This party is going to be huge. All the teams are coming, Captain Singh and most of the CCPD is coming, even the mayor for some reason wanted to see what I did with the place. That's probably because this mansion has been here since the early 90s. So we have to make it huge. We bought a ton of food and decoration and this huge cake. I'm also thinking about asking Kaitlyn about announcing that were getting married and we had saved two kids. So I hope she says yes to telling everyone. I hear bricks sliding and I run to the secret room carrying Kaitlyn with me. We look to see the girls. I started to walk in when I'm dropped a couple of feet down. " I think I figured out what they mean't by watch your step." I say as Kaitlyn starts to laugh and I laugh with her. "Here" Kaitlyn says and throws a nearby rope down and I climb up. "Girls, you know you can't come in here alone." I say. "Okay" they say in unison and head back to the kitchen with us. We start to decorate and by the time we're done everything looked perfect.
