Chapter 13: What kind of relationship is that?

Jungkook had returned back to his dorm. Chanyeol was there as well, and when he spotted the elder entering, he let out a loud mockingly laugh.

"Mate, have you been crying?" he faked laughed.

Jungkook quickly stole a glance of his reflection by the mirror, spotting the redness around his eyes and that they were swollen. "Shut up," he just replied back.

Surprisingly, his roommate listened and didn't speak another word.

As Jungkook let out a sigh as he rolled onto his bed, he got the feeling he was being watched. So, out of curiosity, he glanced over at his roommate, who didn't even bother to look away when he turned.

"What?" Jungkook asked, but he still got no answer. "What is it, Chanyeol?"

"You told me to shut up," he said.

Jungkook couldn't help but roll his eyes. "Since when do you listen to me?"

"Your mate was here," he said, ignoring his question.

"Who?" Jungkook asked as he sat up.

"Park Jimin."

Jungkook frowned at him. "Did he say why he was here?"

"Do I look like a spokesman to you?" he suddenly said annoyed, "I told him to get lost and try calling you instead."

"He didn't," Jungkook muttered, mostly to himself.

"Well, that ain't my problem."

Jungkook got up from his bed and locked himself in the bathroom to call his friend.

After a few rings, he finally answered. "Hello?"

"Hey, hyung," Jungkook said, "did you stop by my dorm room earlier?"

"Yeah, I did," he just replied. Jungkook waited for a moment for him to continue, but he didn't and said, "well?"

"It's not really important," Jimin replied, though very quietly.

"It seemed important enough for you to come here," Jungkook tried again, though he just earned a sigh back.

"It's nothing, Jungkook. I'm going to bed now. I have to wake up early in the morning. Talk to you later." And with that, he just hung up.

Jungkook was utterly confused. He didn't understand why he suddenly changed his mind when he came all the way over to his dorm. But there was no use in trying to think about it when the elder changed his mind.

As the male lay in bed, trying to fall asleep, his mind was filled with thoughts of his boyfriend and his friend in the states. If he was honest, it really bothered him. Not only was the guy still fond of him and even wanted to come to Korea to meet him, but Taehyung didn't seem to be telling the whole truth either. Jungkook wanted to trust him - he really did - but something was wrong, he could feel it. 

Suddenly, words from his friend Jihyo rang in his mind: "Do you wanna hear what I think? It sounds like you don't trust him completely. If you want to be Taehyung's boyfriend and you love him, you gotta trust him. And if you think he prioritizes his friends from abroad before you too much, you just gotta talk to him properly."

You're right, Jihyo, he thought, I guess I don't really trust him. What kind of relationship is that? 

"Oi! Jeon Jungkook!"

Jungkook woke up immediately by the noise and met eyes with his roommate, glaring hard at him.

"Can you answer the fucking door?"

The raven-haired male frowned at him. "Huh? You're already on your feet, why don't you answer it?"

"It's obviously for you, and I don't want to keep getting involved in you and your boyfriend's drama."

Jungkook rolled his eyes as he jumped out of his bed and opened the door to their dorm. "Oh? Jimin hyung?" he said surprised.

"Hey," he muttered, not even looking up at the male. "I guess I really couldn't keep it myself after all."

"What is it?" Jungkook asked, worried for his friend. "What's wrong?" 

"Well, the thing is..." He stopped for a moment as he glanced at Park Chanyeol in bed, looking in their direction. "Uh, could we talk more privately?"

Jungkook glanced over his shoulder as he spotted his roommate staring at them as well, which he sighed to. "Sure, let's talk outside. I'll just get dressed."

I'm sorry that this was really short, but I just wanted to give you guys something as it's been a while and I'm trying to write more but school is really stressing me out and I got my exams next week so hopefully I'll be able to write, even if it's just a little bit.
