Jungkook sat on his bed with Namjoon and Seokjin by each side of him, almost seeming like his parents, especially as they about to scold him.

"Why did you lie?" Seokjin asked, disapproval written all over his face. "Why didn't you tell Taehyung the reason you went there in the first place was that you wanted him back, but you lied?"

Jungkook sighed whilst avoiding their gazes.

"Because I didn't want him to know," he muttered, barely audible.

"But why? It's Taehyung, mate."

"Exactly," Jungkook said. "It's Taehyung, and I don't want to hurt him."

"What exactly do you expect to happen?" Seokjin asked after holding up his hand to his fiancé as he was about to continue being loud. "Taehyung is crying and having a hard time because he's sad and hurt. Why? Because he believes he can't have you. What you're thinking is ridiculous, because you think you'll damage him more than you actually will."

Jungkook shook his head stubbornly. "I can't take that chance. He means too much - "

"Get your shit together man!" Namjoon yelled as he hastily stood up, surprising both of them. "Honestly, this is just plain stupid. If you refuse to go over to my baby brother and tell him how you really feel, I'll go and do it myself."

Namjoon was about to head towards the door, but Jungkook quickly grabbed hold of him. "No!" he said hastily. "I'll... I'll do it myself."

"Good," he said approvingly, but when he spotted the glare from his fiancé as he sat back down, he shrugged his shoulders. "What? He needed the push."

Jungkook was once again standing outside Hoseok's apartment. He knocked but regretted it immediately.

Should he run? Just make a run for it?

But before he had the chance of even thinking about turning around, the door opened.

"Jungkook?" It was Hoseok, of course.

"I need to talk to Taehyung," he said and was about to step inside, though Hoseok blocked his way. "What do you think you're doing?"

"Why do you always seem to have something to say?"

Jungkook glared at him. "Why do you always seem to want to get in the way of me and Taehyung?"

Hoseok glared back, but they both stopped when they heard another pair of footsteps approaching.

"Who is it?" Taehyung asked before spotting the younger, but when he did, his smile subtly grew. "Jungkookie," he said softly, immediately moving Hoseok out of the way to let him in.

Jungkook smiled at him as well, both from knowing Taehyung's genuine reaction by seeing him was smiling, and the fact that he practically pushed Hoseok out of the way to get to him. "Hyung, I got your beanie," he said softly as he showed him it. "Can we talk? Alone?"

Taehyung nodded as he leads the younger inside to his own room.

As soon as the door was shut behind them, Jungkook spoke immediately. "I lied."

Taehyung seemed surprised. "Lied about what?" he asked as he motioned for the younger to sit down beside him on his bed.

"Why I came here," he said, "I used your beanie as an excuse. I came here for a different reason."

Taehyung was staring at him with wide eyes. "What's going on Jungkookie? Hey, you can talk to me."

The younger swallowed hard as he nodded. "I was wrong, stupid, acting like an absolute heartless ass, but I don't want this. I don't want to be away from you. I don't want you to kiss someone else that isn't me. I don't want you to be sad because of me." He had to pause for a moment.

Taehyung could barely process what was happening. "What do you mean, Jungkook? What are you getting at?"

"I love you so so much, hyung. And I don't want us to break up. I still want to be your boyfriend, and I still want you to be mine."

The elder was utterly speechless.

"So, I'm begging you: take me back. I'm so sorry for what I did. I'm so sorry - "

Taehyung interrupted him as he attacked him with a soft long kiss.

"You - you forgive me?" the younger asked surprised after their lips disconnected.

"Just this once," the elder teased. "Now, what the hell was running through your mind when you legit believed we could possibly stay away from each other?"

Jungkook sighed, but he was relieved. They were back together; they were their own (bickering) self again. "That's the thing. I wasn't thinking, or, rather, I was thinking too much. I thought I was hurting you less if I just let you go on with your own life, without me. But I was wrong, about both of us. Our love is too strong and I know we can go through everything, together."

Taehyung looked to be nearly crying. "Damn right you are," he whispered, but he brought the younger in a tight hug. "You idiot."

"But," Jungkook started as he broke their hug, "why did you kiss Hoseok?" He had to ask. Whether he was going to like the answer or not, he had to know. And he trusted Taehyung enough accept it no matter what.

Though Taehyung hesitated. "Well, I was devastated, believing you'd never take me back. Hoseok comforted me as he hugged me. He told me it was going to be alright.

"Then, all of the sudden, he suggested going out with me. He'd promise me to make me forget all about you and only think of him. He believed us living together was a sign and that we fit so well together and somehow always find our ways back together, and although we're not in college anymore, we're back to be being roommates. And then he kissed me."

Jungkook's jaw dropped. He knew it. He knew Hoseok was going to make a move.

"But after we kissed, I told him I couldn't. I couldn't do that to you. Even if we weren't together, it felt wrong, almost as if I still believed you'd come back to me. So I said no. I said I couldn't do it. He was hurt, but he didn't push it, because he knows better now. Don't hate on him, Jungkookie, because he was just this once - after a long time - thinking of himself, and me too. I still want all of us to be friends."

Jungkook couldn't sit still. Hoseok was still here. He was still in the same house. He was right on the other side of the wall in front of him. He wanted to beat him up.

But he knew he couldn't. How could he? He loved Taehyung as much as he did. The only difference was that Taehyung loves Jungkook back.

What if their position was the opposite? What if Taehyung loved Hoseok, and Jungkook was in the other's situation? He'd be devastated. He didn't hate Hoseok, he only hated the idea of someone else trying to steal Taehyung away from him, though he knew Hoseok wouldn't do that anymore. He respected their relationship and hadn't tried anything since the incident in college. They were friends.

"Jungkookie, are you okay?" Taehyung asked as he got up on his feet as well and grabbed his hands in his own.

"Yeah, I'm okay," he replied softly, "but should you really stay here? I mean, I know Hoseok wouldn't hurt either of us, but staying here with him would only hurt him, wouldn't it? And what if he loses his cool and tries anything?"

Taehyung suddenly turned cold as he glared at the younger boy. "Are you telling me to move out?" he glared. "I literally just got here. If you didn't already know, I don't have anywhere else to go. I need to get a job, save up money, and then I can think of finding another place. Hoseok saved me when he accepted me here. Like it or not, I'm staying."

Jungkook felt bad immediately. "I'm sorry hyung, I didn't mean to upset you. I'm sorry."

Taehyung's gaze softened. "It's okay Jungkookie. Come on, let's get something to eat. I'm starving."
