afraid of the dark? good~

you guys reading my story and commenting give me strength. i love each and everyone of you~i know this is not like the movie but im just changing it and making it work for my story lol)

the rain was coming down like god was weeping for our souls. everyone had grabbed each others hands to try to stay together better, to me it slows us down even more. the inclines were slippery, my thigh is burning from exhaustion i don't know how much longer i can keep going. but i will, just until everyone is on the ship. we come to the bottom of the last incline, i have to stop but there are the of the monsters in front of us. riddick leads the way through when he spots an opening. my eyes are blurry again. i blink the water from my eyes and slip down the slope into a puddle of water. i groan in pain as the monsters get closer.

"TESSA" jack screams from the top but riddick pulls her to keep going, no one stops. good. i hiss at the monsters and shakily get onto my feet in a crouch. my knives shoot out and i swipe at the one closest to my left. another lands behind me and i huff.

"riddick! we need to go back to help her!" jack cries in fear and anger.

"..." riddick stays silent and pushes on. this ship is closer than ever, they just had to dodge the monsters and make a few more turns. Zeke was huffing from carrying Suleiman and was starting to slow a bit, the group slowed to a jog instead of a full run. everyone gasping for air. the rain pounding down on the ground, everything was unnerving. they had heard no screams coming from where tessa was left in the mud, making jack have some hope. they continued until they started to see a slight glow coming from the ship. but their hopes came crashing down when a monster came down from the top of the crate in front of them. its tail raised in a poised motion. riddick slowly started to make the group back up when another came from the back. everyone but riddick huddled in a group. there was no way for them to survive this night. no matter how good riddick was, there was no way he could take on two of these monsters and protect the group all at once. then they heard it, a growling sound familiar to them. the group looked up and saw tessa up top and ready to pounce. she jumped down on top of the monster and started to stab it in the head.

"RUN!!! GET TO THE SHIP DON'T STOP RUNNING!!" she screamed her and riddick continued to stab. they were so close they could feel the light on their skin. zeke slipped and fell twisting his ankle. Suleiman slid off his back and continued to breath heavily. he was so much worse. imam didnt want to believe that this could happen right here, when they are so close to their Savior. tessa landed beside Suleiman and grabbed him underneath his arms and started to drag him. she coughed up blood as they got closer. when they made it to the ramp she fell onto her back and held her left upper stomach. blood seeped through her fingers. jack kneeled beside her and started yelling for help to fry inside. jack never saw it coming.

before anyone could process what had happened, jack was on the muddy ground with tessa on all fours over her. blood steadily dripped from her lips as she slightly smiled. she looked up at imam and grinned.

"i can love." everything happened so slow it was like everything as at a standstill, there was no noise in tessa's ears. she couldnt feel the rain an her back, she didnt feel the wound on her thigh, her stomach didnt hurt. she was happy because she remembered imams words.

"love is giving up your life for someone else. love is doing anything for that person."

suddenly all feeling and hearing came back. jack opened her mouth in a scream as tessa was forcefully pulled into the dark by a tail that was lodged deep into her stomach from behind. fry grabbed jack and dragged her onto the ship, jack fell to the ground in tears when suddenly they heard riddicks cry of pain from somewhere out in the maze of crates. fry grabbed a light and ran out into the rain once more. she was terrified, tessa had just been ripped from them once more but this time she knew she wasnt coming back. fry jumped and yelped when something big landed behind her knocking boxes over. it was riddick, he quickly grabbed him by the underarm and pulled him up, she looked down and saw his leg was injured and bleeding heavily.

"come on riddick! get up! i said i would die for them, not you. GET UP!" fry yelled at him and finally got him up and started to back her way to the ship. riddick was in pain but started to go with her when she suddenly stopped and gasped. for a second he thought he stabbed her with how much she was yanking him around. but he didn't. she stared at him and he stared at her. she was yanked from his grip, her hand slipping through his as she was pulled away. the light landing at his feet and he fell to his knees.

he looked out into the dark, "not for me...NOT FOR ME!" he raised his head.

~~~~imam was watching over Suleiman his time had come, he knew this, there was nothing in the med pack that could help with his injury. Suleiman looked up at his father with pain in his eyes. the light in his eyes dimming steadily until it was no more. ali and jacked cried for everyone that didn't survive, jack cried for tessa the most. she knew no one would care that an assassin/murderer died here this night. no one would tell her story.  jack knew. jack knew Tessa's legacy died here with her. but not for jack, she will rise and continue the story for everyone here.

riddick sat in the pilots seat and buckled up as the others sat in the back a blanket covered Suleiman's body. ali slept beside his father who held his prayer beads.

"so much death, so many prayers to be said. i hardly know where to begin."

"i do" jack looked up and held Tessa's knife that had fallen beside her before tessa was taken. imam nodded and bowed his head as riddick started up the jets, then he suddenly turned off all the lights and jets. jack, imam, and zeke looked around as they heard the monsters crawling all over the ship.

"riddick what are you doing?! can we please get out of here?!" jack whispered in a fearful voice and grabbed zeke's shirt.

"we can't leave...not without saying goodbye." he suddenly launched the ship forwards killing monsters that made contact with the fire and light around the ship. they were finally on their way home. the sun started to shine as they flew around the rings of one of the closer planets. the sun was a beautiful thing to see.
