Chapter 12

Clarke:

we walked down the hall towards the cell...

I don't know if I could do it, if I could lose him again. Maybe it will be easier this time, easier to watch him as he floats off into the endless space. You might think... that dying in space is a good way to die, with all of the stars and planets around you and it would be quiet. It Should be a peaceful death.

But I don't think it is like,  it would be like drowning, nobody considers that peacefully yet it's the same thing...

Your alone in a vast sea of blue, with maybe a few fish along the way, but that's the thing about drowning it's not peaceful it's painful because you have time...time to think about everyone your about to lose. Everyone your about to leave behind.

I imagine that's what it's like to be standing there watching your crying family's, waiting for the guard to press that botton.

There kinda the same,

Losing someone you love

And death.

Both extremely painful.

I thought of that as bellamy led me down the hall of cells towards my dad's.

As he stopped in front of a door my heart started to beat out of my chest.

"Alright you can't take to long the night check is in about ten minutes so explain to him what's going on give him a hug and then i will have to take you back to your cell...clarke?" He asked after he realized I was shaking

"Hey, it's okay" he said I shook my head

"No...I don't know if I can do this because tomorrow he's gonna be gone" I whispered   looking down a tear dropped onto the floor

"Clarke" he

said quietly lifting my face to look into my eyes

"if you don't do this than you will never see him again" he told me and I nodded

"Yeah ok let me in" I said taking a deep breath as Bellamy stuck the key in the door to unlock it

The door slowly opened and let out a deep breath before I slipped into the cell that heald the person I had missed the most in this life... and as soon as I had stepped into the small room my eyes met his.

"Daddy..." I said my voice cracking

"Clarke? What are you doing here? Night check is in 10 minutes!" He said to me while pulling me into a tight hug.

"Dad I had to see you just once before I lose you again..." I told him as he quickly jumped in

"Again? Clarke what do you mean again?" He asked me arching an eyebrow

"Oh right well you see me and mom and bellamy blake we already lived this, and daddy...they sent us to earth it's beautiful they sent the hundred delinquents to earth and we got nocked out and woke up here back on the ark" I explained quickly he looked confused at first but his eyes turned sad after a moment

"So you, already saw me get    floated?" He choked on the last word. My eyes started tearing up so I just nodded.

"Oh clarke I'm so sorry"  he said quietly pulling me into another hug, Bellamy poked his head into the door,

"Night check is in 5 minutes we should get going" he said I nodded and hugged my dad tighter after a few more seconds before I pulled away . And walked out of the room tears where cascading down my face like the rain back on earth as I shut the door I let a soft sob escape my lips as Bellamy engulfed me into a hug, he's quite a bit larger than me so engulfed is the perfect word my body fit perfectly into his chin rested on the top of my head and my neck was fitting perfectly with the curves in his neck .
