CHAPTER 5

clarke:

i woke up next to octavia and i smiled she looked so peaceful sleeping so i didnt wake her i slipped out of bed and walked to the door i looked out to see if monty was at his he wasnt i stood ther for a while looking as far down the hall as i could see although montys room was the only one i could see into i was imagining who was in the cells down the hall i wondered if possibly bellamy was behind one of those doors lying in bed recovering from his injurys his face would be as clean as mine revealing his millions of freckles witch i had grown to love, or he could be lying in the ashes by the drop ship his skeliton the only part of him left on this earth. i hoped that it was the first instead of the last but part of me knew there was no way he could have made it out in time.

bellamy was the one to open the door that first day, he was the one to pull that lever down revealing the most beautiful place ive ever seen and i was the one to pull it up with him still outside...i killed him i killed bellamy blake i let a sob sneek out of my lips as i turned away from the door and curled up in a corner and cried, i just cried i didnt only cry because of bellamy i cried because of my mom, because of my dad because of wells because of all the people who have died along the way i just cried because of everything thats happened i cried because i felt alone i cried because bellamy wasnt here to rap his arms around me and tell me its gonna be ok he was gone and i had killed him.

suddenly i heard the someone opening the door i quickly wiped my eyes and stood up tall the door opened and monty was thrown in i couldnt help but smile as tears where still streaming down my face as i ran and hugged him

"hey hey hey whats wrong? why are you crying" he asked with a worried tone in he voice

"hes gone...Bellamy and my mom and my dad and wells they all died i know there was nothing i could do...exept Bell if i hadnt closed the door if i would have tried he might still be here" i began to sob again if it was anyone other than monty or jasper i would have tried to keep it together but i knew he would understand

"clarke if you hadnt closed that door we would all be dead... and we dont know weather or not hes dead he could be alive" monty told me sternly he gave me a reassuring smile and then pulled me into another hug

"monty?" i heard octavia say as woke up he turned and ran to her gave her hug before we all sat down to talk

i explained everything to monty he was releaved to here that i saw jasper and we decided what questions i would ask john after that we just kind of tried to pass the time

"lets pllay eye spy!! i spy something white" monty said and i looked at him

"monty its all white" i laughed

"ohh right" he said blushing a bit

it had been a few hours when the door opened again it was security man i looked at me and said "john and the rest fo the council would like to see you" i nodded got up and followed him out the door and back down the hallway  towards the silver doors once again i saw jasper but not this finn his eyes lit up when he saw me and i smiled reassuringly. when we got to the door i took a deep brecth hoping that he was going to tell me somethings i wanted to hear when security man opened the door for me and i stepped in all eyes where once again on me i half smiled and walked cofidently into the room and stood infronnt of the council

"please take a seat" john said nodding towards the chair ate the other head of the long table acroos from him i nodded and sat down

"we have come to a dissision that we will let you ask us some questions but depending on weather or not its classifide we will answer" john said once i was seated i nodded

"ok so first i assume that you are who the grounders call the mountain men?" i asked

"that is correct" he said i nodded

"are my people going to be hurt in anyway while they are locked up?" i questioned

"very good question the way i see it if your people dont cause any trouble we wont hurt them" he said and i breathed a small sigh of relief before nodding again

"ok this question is going to be a little bit more personal for me and a few of my colligues do you know the names of  the people if you do is there someone named Bellamy blake in a cell?" i asked

" i am not sure i will have to check" he said and i nodded

"my last question is why did you bring us here in the first place?" i asked

"we the mountain men's motive is to prevent another nucular misshap distroyig the planet so when you did whatever it was you did to kill the grounders it did alot of damage so we had no choice but to step in and bring you here" he explained it seemed pretty  inocent

"i know i said this was my last question but will we be able to leave? ever"

"that is still being decided" i said and i frowned

"ok i will be going..." i was cut of by john

"clarke i would like a minute with you without the presence of the council" the council stood up and left the room

"i take it this Bellamy Blake is close to you?" he asked

"y-yes he was with Finn hes in the cell on the left a few doors down" i asked hope in my eyes

"ahh i know who you where talking about unfortunatly he was almost dead when we found him im afraid bellamy is..................................................................

hahahahahahahahaaha evil laugh oh the sweet taste of cliffhanger!!

i know i know two chapters in one day! *gasp* but hey cant a girl updat her book twice in one day?
