He is older than her and she always looks up to him. He is willing to do anything to protect Emi, even if it means giving up his gasaht. He doesn't want her involved with the Bugsters more than she already has. Poppy Pipopapo ~ Poppy is Emi's best friend, Poppy wants her to quit her job at Gemn Corp. because of everything that has happened in the past. Poppy doesn't want Emi to get near Taiga due to Poppy herself being mildly scared of Taiga. She also, much like Emu, doesn't want her to be involved with the bugsters. Taiga Hanaya ~ Emi finds Taiga very annoying and self absorbed but soon she starts to warm up to him. Hirro Kagami ~ Emi finds Hirro in the same way she finds Taiga but sees him as more self absorbed than Taiga but she finds Hirro more acceptable due to them being friends at in point in time.
