She groaned, this mission took her four years to finish, but she have been through worse.
The female archer felt like sleeping for days unfortunately for her she live in London; and she still have a mission waiting for her but luckily for her it was an easy one
Miya rush to her temporary home where her friend kindly let her stay, she went to the garden to check if Kagura is there, then a note stole her attention.
- Miya-san, It's me Kagura-chan; I wanted to tell you that I went to the new year's festival.
She folded the paper and kept it in her pocket, she did a little tour around Kagura's mansion though she already knew her way in or out
Humming, the female archer remembered her fiance; its been a while since they met.
She dearly miss her fiance, Zilong, she vividly remember the day he proposed to her amidst their rare meet ups they still keep in contact
For the string of fate led them to be with each other. The invisible red string that connects two people together, a myth that they both believe in
"Wait for me Zilong" she said looking at the flower in her palm; little did she know that her fiance wasn't where she expected to be...
"Freya take my hand! Hurry" Zilong grab his friend's hand, roughly as they both ran away from the disaster they bought themselves into
"No! Please go as far as you can away from here" a voice of a woman echoed as she cried softly at the sight in front of her, the two tried their best to escape from the calamity
The helicopter was their only last hope, running they did, Zilong push themselves into the out of the ditch. His grip on Freya's hand began loosen
Zilong and Freya got separated inside as the water started to rise, none of them knew what future awaits for them.
Freya let his hand go as the water came clashing from her side "No! No!" She's just a hand away from his grip yet he couldn't save her
"Goodbye.." she smiled at him with utmost sincerity "Goodluck on the wedding" with that her face was covered by the strong flood
Miya felt a shiver down her spine, 'Something is off' she thought, a frown replace her beautiful smile, her instincts are telling her that something wrong happened
She clench the flower and grit her teeth, she never doubt her instincts, she needed to go home, she need to make sure that everyone she loves is safe.
She hastily went to her room and began packing her clothes. Grabbing a piece of paper and her pen, she wrote her farewell and thanks to her friend.
"I'm coming back" she said to herself
