Amanda sat in a plane, next to the man who was wanted on the T.V, along with her Father speaking to the others on board the plane that was called the Quinjet as she had heard. Her initial feeling was quite bored, as she always was, her Father continued to ignore her, in which she had decided to ignore him from now on. So, to fulfill her entertainment, she had decided to chat up with the wanted man next to her, even if she can't get anything out from him. She thought it would be better if she ended up making small talk with the man.
"So, what are you in for?" She then asked him softly. Her head turned to him as she analyzed his features. He was quite a tall man, much like most men, his hair was long and curly. Along with his striking green eyes seeming dull, which was placed over the large bags under his eyes which was quite visible. Through the T.V he was shown to have a menacing looking grin as if he had just murdered someone, in which he did. A couple of times.
His face turned to her, his eyes scanned her as he held a look of pure annoyance as he watched her. The young girl sighed as she had already made the man annoyed. But it didn't stop her from asking any more questions, he never said anything, to begin with.
"Alright then, what are you?" She continued as she asked in a slightly more interested tone. She could feel a sense of power coming from him, she didn't know how she could feel it or if anyone else could feel it, but it seemed as if she could feel it. She seemed all over the place when she felt his power, nobody else had that feeling as it seemed. But it felt ancient, old. It felt familiar like she had known the power before. But it also felt different, like a different kind of power, or magic.
Tony, on the other hand, was talking to Steve Rodgers, oblivious to the fact that his daughter seemed to be talking to a murderer, let alone sitting next to one. But as he could hear chattering coming from a young girl's mouth, he turned to Amanda and let out a groan before snapping at her to get her attention.
"Amanda, stop talking to him." He then said which caused her to jump just slightly as she hung her head low. Tony looked at her with an annoyed look as she avoided his gaze. He wasn't the kind and caring Father she expected him to be. He was the self-centered, idiotic piece of shit that seemed to have a mouth that would go on for hours. Tony then turned back to the older man, taking one last glance at Amanda before he continued his conversation.
The murderous man looked over to the young eleven year old and a sense if pity washed over him. He too seemed to have a sense power. But he didn't know where it came from. But his attention wasn't drawn to the power, no, it was to the young girl. He saw himself in her, something familiar, something similar to what Amanda was feeling, but he seemed more aware. She had a more ancient but modern feel to her. And it seemed that he was interested in the little girl. Seeing if he could turn her into something more.
"Midgardian child that goes by the name of Amanda." He then said to her in a whisper. Amanda looked over at him with a curious but wary look as he sighed. "I am Loki of Asgard."
She tilted her head just slightly as he said his name before a loud clasp of lightning happened, making Loki seem more vigilant and wary. He seemed to look out the window as he then began to panic just slightly. She was unsure on how to respond to Loki's reaction to the clasp of thunder, she was wondering if it would end up turning into a worst-case scenario than it already is.
"What's the matter?" She then heard Captain America then say, she had just met the man himself, frozen for a long time, seventy years if she remembers correctly. His real name was Steven Rogers, but he told her to call him Steve or even Stevie if she felt comfortable with the nickname, but once again her Father turned her down on calling him Stevie. "Scared of a little lightning?"
Loki took a glance at Steve before he looked up at the ceiling, holding a fearful look as he looked up. Amanda could tell that he was feeling quite wary and tense, due to his posture and his tight grip on the seatbelt. Amanda looked out the window, still hearing the conversation that was still happening, seeing more lightning and thunder crash with a loud noise that would make anyone's ears bleed.
"I'm not overly fond of what follows." He then said as Amanda continued to tilt her head in complete confusion, she didn't understand what Loki meant by that phrase, neither did the others as she looked over to see what Loki was looking at. But she had no time to react as a loud bang startled them all, a collision between the Quinnjet and an unknown source made it shake the vehicle just slightly.
Amanda was about to take action, she didn't understand why, but she felt the need to. But before she could even stand up, she felt her Father push her down and buckle down her seatbelt. She didn't even notice the fact that she even took it off in the first place. But things happen. She looked up at him before he turned away from her.
"Stay here." He then said in a low voice as he placed his helmet on. Amanda looked over at where her Father was heading to, heading for the switch that opened the back door of the Quinnjet. It slowly moved open and a gust of wind smacked Amanda right in the face, in which it was quite unexpected.
But she was startled by the fact a man appeared out of nowhere. He pushed her Father out the way and ripped the seatbelt that kept Loki intact. And the pair flew out the Quinnjet, making Amanda gap at them.
